Tracking with the d700/af system puts the 5dii to shame...just . . . kills it and buries it.

Shadows are a lot easier to work In .jpg so you can get to of them and it look natural. Helps with eyes. So basically take out shadows and lift blacks and then add contrast.

Appreciate it. The space you have to work with on those boats is so small that I obviously used the widest lens I had most of the time, but I'd just recommend climbing all around the boat to get every different angle possible because their work gets repetitive. It's also worth it to do as much as you can as early as possible while the light is awesome.

Second trip down to Gatlinburg after going in February, got about 10 shots out of the trip, but I like these 3, I'll mess around in Color Efex and see if I can improve some of the others.

Pb- Much appreciated. Yeah, the accents on the left side really make the photo. I have another one I need to edit cause the road up to Morton's is right in that valley, I never checked if those shots came out that had headlights and taillight drag across the bottom. Iirc my fellow friend knocked my tripod legs by accident.

A couple are a little soft, the 300 seemed to be struggling a little on the second day. Probably need to take it up to Canon Virginia for a good cleaning and such. Anyone know about what a periodic maintenance costs on a white telephoto?
