Fixing a messed up xbox disc?

So basically my MW2 disc is going unreadable. It went from working 9 out of 10 times, to sometimes, to rarely, to completely unreadable now. Does anyone know of anything I can repair said disc with? Thanks in advance

You can take it to a place that does disc resurfacing. People at gamestop or whatever you have nearby might know where you can have it done; they might have a machine there. It's usually like $5 a disc.

Borrow a working disk from a friend and copy it to your hard drive. If your disc can be read initially it might work.

Rub some regular toothpaste(not gel) on it for a quick fix. Rub from the center of the disc outward with a soft cloth or cotton swab.

The problem was the disc would start to rock or lean to one side while spinning but that is only with I think one or two of the DVD drives. If this is the case then your disc would get a well defined circle scratch around the disc. This is mainly caused by tilting or moving the console while the disc is spinning.
