I like the drawing and the stencil captures it quite well. Nice, clean linework. 8.5/10.

Here's a recent portrait I did for a fan overseas... My portraiture skills are getting better, but not quite where I want them to be.

definitely a very cool style you have there.. the hair is a little rough but im loving the colors and everything 9/10

here's a fresh one i just did.. roughed it out first, then made a line drawing for the stencil and have been trying different color combos. eventually it will be on my girlfriend's thigh, with a skeleton sailor on the other to match
idk why it uploaded sideways lol

Thanks Welp... this thread is hopeless lol.

I like this, but I think I prefer the thicker line-work you utilized in your previous post. This is nice and clean, but I'm not feeling the colors so much (it could be that I can see your strokes too though). I've always liked the idea of playing around with different renditions of the same idea too 8/10

And here's another portrait for a fan... The first time I've been paid for a portrait

Very nice, might pop a bit more if u could add some darker values in the deep parts of the red petals. Great looking piece 9/10
Lucy portrait, yeah the right eye is a little large, didn't hit me till I was finished

came out really nice..like you mentioned, the one eye kinda throws it of a bit, but otherwise, really good. you could probably spend a little more time with the hair. 9/10

8.5/10 Nice ink work.. micron? I understand that the wing in the back is shadowed, but since nothing else is shaded it draws my eye to it. Love inking, makes me want to go through my old art school stuff and find my inks : )
The wife about 4 yrs ago.. one of my first portraits.. this time the eyes were supposed to be different, she squints her right when she smiles

That's a pretty good looking portrait... Much better than I can do. I've really got nothing negative to say about that at all- looks excellent, but I feel like a bit more contrast in the wrinkles/shadows on the sweatshirt/ jacket would make it even better 9/10.

Here's an in-progress oil painting I'll be finishing this week... I'm really only fishing for suggestions.

8/10 - Pretty cool. I would maybe would have terminated the large bolt in the center a little earlier. It doesn't look bad, just a bit divergent from the rest of the work.

Here is a sketch I did while still in school - Nicked the image off the web and replicated it with prisma colors and colored pencils.

8/10 Really like the color choice in that picture it defiantly makes you focus around the center of the eye for sure.
Here is a piece I did last year I just started getting into portraits more and I have a few more that I could put up as well.

7.5/10 ..pretty good but could use some darker tones to bring out the contrast. consider using a straight edge for things like the twin towers. Nice tribute.. keep it up, id like to see some of your work.

this is one I did quickly for my wifes speech class.. the night before she had to give the speech she told me she needed a visual aid, so I whipped this up in less than 2 hours. I don't expect it to get too good of a rating.. o well

7.5/10 ..try researching on cross-hatching technique for shading, I think it something that will work well for you. Nice proportions though, forearm might be a little long but overall it looks pretty good. Finish it! lol You've inspired me to start on a new paintball themed piece!

10/10 for me the detail in the face is incredible.
Here is a ink drawing that I did Before and After

Before

After-this picture is all photoshop

These two are from back when I was in High school I dont do much with Photoshop anymore mostly all pencil drawings now.. I am currently working on some new drawings as we speak.

Ehhhh, 5/10? While the shading and blending of colors does do something to describe the dimension of the subject, I think it could be much better... It has a lot to do with your background too- it feels very separate from the subject and therefore affects the cohesion of the piece as a whole. Seems like you have an idea, but the execution needs work.

I like the concept and the placement, but it feels a little cartoony for me , just my opinion though .
This is a profile portrait of my fianc done neotraditional style .
