I haven't been on a cruise with other goats in... well, ever, but assuming you're not mixing me up with anyone else, the last 700+ hp goat I saw did indeed have a D1SC. It was at a random car meet I decided to go to though, and I don't think the guy was on ls1gto.com. I couldn't give any other details than that unfortunately.

If you're looking for a badass goat, I'd recommend looking at WRP's car, Ethyl. Ethyl is powered by a 408 with a 4L Whipple slapped on top (the only one in the world as far as I know). I can't remember what his most current numbers are, it seems like he always is adding something else to the car, but I think it was around 900hp/1100+ft lbs at the wheels.

So far only bite on the monte carlo is some highschool kids and a guy out of lima with an 87 corvette kinda considering it but not sure

They're slightly different, F body is 5x4.75 which works out to 5x120.66 and the GTO is 5x120. People commonly run 5x120 on F bodies and F body/Corvetter stuff on GTOs though.

You wouldn't be jelly if you saw it from other angles. I purposely picked this one so you couldn't see all the imperfections.

2x4 on the highway scuffed the front of the bumper
Hitting an animal broke the passenger side marker
Bottom of the passenger side of the front bumper is scraped from concrete
Passenger rear fender above the wheel well is dented
Small outward dent on the hood when I hit it while working on the engine
Rear bumper and bumper insert scratched in the middle when friend rear ended me
G from GTO on the front grill has fallen off, T is loose
Front end and hood are covered in rock chips, one spot, BB sized, rusted through
Probably 10-20 other various small dents, dings, and scratches from people hitting it

I used to be extremely anal about the paint. Washed it three times a week year round, spending hundreds on detailing supplies. Factory paint is terrible though. I've scratched it with my fingernail before to give you an idea how much the factory paint sucks. Now I can't even remember all the imperfections. I still do some paint correction when it needs it (mostly just swirls), but I wash it once every week or two. I'll care more when I get a Monaro conversion and have the whole car repainted. At that point though, I'll also opticoat the whole car to prevent it all from happening again (not including dents/dings).

90-91's had problematic injectors. The intakes like to leak. The 4+3 transmissions like to have the OD unit break. Weatherstripping is really bad on these cars too. If you're going with an l98 over any of the other motors, try and get a later year where they had analog dashs and the 6speed (90-91). Better interior, revised suspension, the zf6 is bulletproof, comes in better colors

Nope, it's a completely different dash setup/shape. Vetteaid sells an analog kit for early C4's, but it's kind of expensive.
