Recap of the race last weekend.
Blow out tire on way to track, get to track, it rains, make test hits, blow the tires off every run because the track isn't fit to send cars down. rains more, sudden wind gust out of now rips one of the arms off our awning, big oil down, go to get into car for next run back out into the battery charger. make second round of eliminations run dead on the index 6.500 lose the round because i had the worst light i have ever recorded in competition.
all day i had been in the .040-.060, have to race some girl all of a sudden cuts .150 light? out of no where. what a great weekend...
Also on the tire blow out, we were in a gas station going 5mph the trailer tires have only 1-3k miles on them at most, they were at the right temps and pressures, yet it blew out. When it blew out it didn't blow out in a single place, it blew out (splitting the belts in two jagged dagger shaped spikes on two opposite sides of the tire). One place it split in two was at coordinate point pi and the other was at coordinate point 2pi. Has anyone had a tire do anything like that, splitting on opposite sides with no visible issues on the tire whatsoever?

Lol, I checked the casting number, it is. supposedly came out of a 70's camaro
Needs: heater core and heater hoses
carb needs minor adjustment
Timing may be a little off (starts right up however.)
Possible Valve adjustment
Tires (which are perfect, but are 12 years old since the car has been driven 500 miles in the past 10 years)

When do you want to go racing haha. I'm down most of the time.
also update on the Beretta, aiming to get her down to 2400-2450lbs right now she is at 2150 or so but still has stuff to add. Hopefully at 2450 and 1100-1200hp she should be decently quick.
