Gotcha, props then man. It always hurts me a little inside when I see people my age or younger getting things handed to them. Especially things that I would want. lol.
I've done cams and longtubes on my car recently and did the labor myself to save money, but it sucks not having a job and scrounging for money. I have a class with a supervisor and a manager of the college gym though, and they told me that I could have a job there during the next hiring period so I should have some disposable income hopefully. If I get enough, it's going into an edelbrock, saleen, or whipple.
Go with the Whipple man! and I hear ya about people getting things handed to them for free, there's a few people like that around my town. A friend of mine had his dad buy him a brand new BMW M3...Kinda wish I had that kind of money! lol
Ps-in order to do a stroker the crank WILL be changed.stock crank with leave you around 376cubic inches I think since its ls3.i just did a 408 iron block in c5z (ttix kit)
Ha my bad didnt catch that.theres a couple guys with vettes pushing the limits with 13.5#,cam+meth making close 800whp.i wouldnt do the whipple, for some reason the ls motors respond alot better to centris and turbos.also be careful if doing a big cubic inch like that...alot of people are having to.sleeve those blocks because some sections of the cylinder walls are actually thinner than others do a lsx iron or ls7.we went back to ls2 in my brother in laws 08c6 when we did his motor.
Rpm transmissions is a great group of guys since your out that way too.awesome and easy people to deal with
My buddy lives in the middle of no where up here in CT.he has a burnout fest in his driveway every year. we got there at 1, and started with firing off a few rounds from our carry guns, then all day different burnouts. this is just a little teaser of 4 of the cars. there was a pro photographer there who made this. has a lot more footage. plus im putting something together.
