I thought that vest was meant to be worn under a riding jacket (probably with arm protection), though I guess it wouldn't be far fetched for me to believe people would think otherwise. Used to see people with just a MX chest and back protector in OKC.

I have an icon vest but I wear it for the back protector at the track. I really want a custom set of the impact armor.

I use the t pro stuff under my normal gear, I'm doubtful it will prevent injury but I'm optimistic it could save me from death depending on location and severity of the impact.

I think those are more for the reflective awareness of other drivers. Also you need them for military bases.

Actually I might still loose it.

But i'm going to go up to WI before the court date, and get a WI license again. WI told the other states to **** off with this treaty that linked everyone's to the different states license so it will never go on my record and I can start fresh(er)

*my record isn't exactly perfect there either... But that was all almost 4 years ago now.

90% of the people I see are wearing a tshirt, 65% are wearing shorts. The only thing people in FL think they need is gloves.

usual attire around here is only a helmet. and usually a skull cap at that.

i sometimes swear i'm one of the only riders in my area who weathers a leather jacket, gloves, boots, pants and a full face helmet. i remember seeing a bunch of dudes in racing leathers at a dunkin donuts lot meeting up when i was out for a ride. i was blown away by that. other than that i've really only seen less than 5 properly geared up riders in my area, that includes adam who posts in here too.

speaking of gear, my first gloves i used when it was cold last fall/winter when i started riding on the street on the left, and now my current gloves on the right. damn it's cool how much **** changes!

If I were going to spend the money on a KTM, I'd look for one that is street plate-able.
