It doesn't exactly have a title.... that's the main issue. Well it has a salvage title somewhere.

Yeah.... Don't have one.

Almost ended up with neither. Live and learn, never doing it again.

It was common practice up in WI, we were dumber up there though.

Well, you guys can get away with it because there's a lot less people around. Maybe a ninja 250 should be an investment for you? Oh well at least your bike is still running and you're not in jail.

Street riding just isn't for me.

I enjoy full throttle, sliding, backing it in, wheel in the air. Cruising around is just boring to me. I had that CB400... I got rid of it cause it was boring.

I think i'm going to buy a dirt bike and get my kicks in that way. Since i can't be on the race track that often.

would this seriously work? im dumb enough to tell a cop it wasnt mine if i had gotten off before he pulled up.

Then if no one claims it he can tow it right? esp if the tags dont check out. Can a cop have a untitled bike towed with the argument that it could be stolen?

aw so many scenarios. This is how i get my kicks on the internet

I don't ride just for kicks, I occasionally cruise to just clear my mind and get away. I just find a bike more enjoyable than a car cruising/commuting.

Yes its illegal to have an unregistered vehicle car or bike regardless if it is being used on the road or not

i dont think cops can take things off private property without a warrant. you know what he meant.

but seriously, if you wern't being chased and had gotten off the bike and almost to the door and the cop came and tried to ticket you could you just walk away. knowing the tags and everything was legal. could the cop hold you there until he ran the tags? (to anyone that cares this is all hypothetical and i doubt anyone is going to go out and prove any of these theories)

Probably. This was Indiana telling me they'll accept my Illinois class M if I take the written test again.

Have you seen how cheap dirtbikes are!?

I think i'll get one of those by winter, and get my kicks in that way. Then I have the race bike, andddd a dirtbike to ride.

at least around here, it almost isn't even worth it to ride a dirt bike. all the riding spots have been shut down. it really sucks having something that was once so awesome, because it was all taken away before any of us knew it. the only places you can go now require a good distance to drive and you need to be racing.
