So I re lubed the bolt engine and dry fired it a few times. Now I have a slight hiss of air from the bolt. It's very slight and you can only hear it when you put your ear up to the breach. Pulled out the bolt to make sure all the o rings were good to go. Anyone else run into this?

Crap could've been the tank. I purged the air in my ninja and opened it up. It had one red shim in the reg.

Could be, heard they are pretty finicky about input pressures. Just take all the shims out, should put your reg 400-450.

Ninja says this:
"The shims are located in the bottom “pocket” of the gas distribution body. Due to the
NINJA Regulator being hand crafted and tested the number of silver shims may vary.
• Remove 1 red shim approximate output 650 PSI
• Remove 2 red shims approximate output 500 PSI"

-leaking marker quote-
Replace the back breech oring with an 017 and verify that the front power-tube oring is an 013. It should seal up perfectly after that. If you're having trouble getting the back breech oring in place, put your engine into the marker and turn it 90* to either side and the back of the bolt should sit right behind the oring groove. That way when you put the oring in it'll sit right into the groove instead of going too far back into the shot chamber

if your marker comes with lube it will most likely be monkey poo (perfectly fine for the inside of your marker)
if you're rebuilding a reg, ONLY USE DOW33!

How do you run tune assist? What's the vent that needs to be closed?

Program menu- scroll down to tune assist- follow the menu. You'll need air in your tank.
The vent is where that puff of air shoots out and hits your hand when you fire

Np. If you don't mind the air.. great! Others here have turned what would be the equivalent of the luxes manifold screw (remove core, smallest screw facing you, third one down) all the way in.. run tune assist, bump bolt return up 5-8ms. So when all is said and done. Dwell should be around 10-12, bolt return low 30's ish?
Promod is working on a tuning guide *soon I hope :-)* that should address everything.

Well there are two different ways of approaching it. PERSONALLY, Im a fan of airing it up and shooting it first just to see what Im working with. To me it's like buying a car and before you even drive it, you order mods for the engine. You might like the way it drives as is!
Second approach is, yes, remove the core, wipe it down and re-lube it first. THEN shoot.
Whatever you pick is absolutely your choice. Either way it should be fine. I just wouldn't start messing with dwell and bolt return time right off the bat.
Once you've done either of the above, tune it to your liking using methods talked about in this thread ie bolt return, adjustment screw, dwell etc...
