I noticed the same problem, when i used my .685 back i'll have barrel breaks more frequent and I tried a Freak .682/.684 same problem (shooting valken crusade/redemption/pro)

With overbore I use .691 tends to shoot better but I still get the random exploding chop at the end of the rope

Been 4 months and sent back twice to machine... still haven't been fixed

I'm sure your super frustrated and want to break your gun.with a hammer. But.I.sujjest changing.all the orings in the reg. I had many issues ans send it back but all they did was change the orings in the body. When I finally. Took off all the orings in the reg I noticed manufactured badly oring and now it shoots great. I would also reccomend sending it to.pro mod if ken wasn't able to fix it.

I'll rebuild the reg tonight, but they locktite my tophat down i can't even get that to budge... I may just send it to pro-mod but i think its kinda sad that Machine requires a 3rd party to fix their markers...

You're not required to send it to me; you're supposed to send it to Machine, but I offer a faster service, that's all.

You can acces the Reg through the bottom also. Everything can come out through there!

i just got my vapor for christmas, while airing the marker up, it seemed fine, until the smallest o ring nailed me in the leg and have no clue where it came from. i suppose it was from the asa because that was the only thing that was giving me problems. dont want to mess with any more until i find out how and where to put the oring back. any info?

did your whole asa core fall out or just one oring

I did the exact same thing to my ASA and see everything that is with yours on my ASA so I have no clue where the tiny o ring would go other that the little pin inside the ASA for the tank to touch. BUT I still have no clue and don't want to air it up so I don't damage the marker.

is it leaking when you air it up? If not, it might have been one of the orings in the spares kit got loose and stuck to your marker.

I thought the same thing, but I felt it shot me so now I think it may have come out of the bolt if it wasn't the asa

Can you post a pick of the o-ring on your finger so we can see the size? This will help us tell you where it came from.

It just the fact that they seem to know almost nothing bout how to fix this over pressurization issue that's causing the marker to chop and break paint

Also... I just got it back from the 2nd time i've sent it to them and it's still having the same problem.

Just to let you know the history of my marker

- Traded/Purchase from Paintball Trader in Sept 2012

- Received marker on Sept 20th 2012

- Reg wasn't lined up - sent pic to Ken, Ken said to send it in for V2 updates

- Received marker back from ken on Sept 28th

- Used marker Sept 30 rd 2012 - (ultra evil) marker shot soup

- Contacted Ken in OCT - Ken suggested cutting a ring off the spring of the detent because the detent may have be to harsh on the paint

- Did the spring mod - Chopped EVERYTHING

- OCT 2012 - replaced the springs notice a few random barrel breaks but the marker seemed to be shooting fine. Shortly after the marker would chop/exploded the last paintball in the rope of paint i was shooting on psp

- NOV 2012 - sent marker back to Ken for repair gave up trying to fix it

- DEC 2012 - Received marker, Ken was out sick so took 3~4 weeks to get it back, Note said Marker was shooting fine. Guess what it's not shooting fine

I really want to just throw this in a trash compactor or melt it down and sell the aluminum. All the paint i have used, I also shot it thru my Clone GT, LUXE 2.0, or T2... None of them broke or chop the paint

(although the T2 never chops paint unless user error lol)

This is probably the most pain in the *** marker i've owned 2nd to the 2 G6R's i've owned that were also nothing but problem too...

I'd check to make sure the valve isn't stuck, and that you're front breech oring is intact. you're more than welcome to send it to me if you'd like.

I had tried to air it up and now the whole front of the asa is leaking and this was that little o ring that was the one that had came out of some place in the marker.

if it is tiny like can fit in a drinking straw tiny than that is the Air Transfer hole from the ASA to the Frame
