It just puzzles me to think that the ASA on or off effects the sealing capability of the whole air system.

It's very weird, I'll upload a video to show you what I mean, I'm gonna change some Orings in the Asa soon so hopefully that works

Yea, take out the ASA core and lube the orings.
What's happening is the ASA pin is hitting your tank pin and allowing a little bit of air through the marker (which is why it's not sealing up until you actually flip the lever.)
It's also possible that you put the ASA core in backwards. Make sure you see a pin and not a flat-surface when you look into the ASA. If you can use your pinky to push the pin all the way in (so it's flush with the rest of the core) it's good, if not you probably put the core in backwards.

The core is in right, is there a way to take it out without removing the whole Asa? I'm oblivious to the cam drive so anyhelp would be appreciated

Do what ProMod suggested... by the sound of it your pin is getting stuck allowing for that little bit of pressure to be released and after watching that video it makes sense that its not sealing since its such a low amount of pressure being released.

It would probably make it a lot easier to work with if you removed it even if you dont. Personally I have no idea since I have never had to work on one before.

Yup thanks tony for fine tuning my vapor. It rips flawlessly hopper after hopper no barrel breaks and no chops in all modes. Btw let me know what answer you get about pooty's grease and for research I will send what I had if you want to see if it does sieze up vapors.

Anytime dude, glad to hear it's running smooth!
And if you could send me the lube you were using prior to gunsav, that would be awesome. I'll get in touch with Pooty and see what he thinks is going on.

Oddly enough I was breaking paint fairly regularly until i noticed that the vapor seemed to break paint on the last few pellets in the hopper. I was using a Z2, I switched to a rotor and the problem seemed to go away. Not sure why. Not enough tension in the stack on the last few pellets mebbe?
As mentioned in my earlier post my settings are dwell 12 ms, bolt delay 34, eye delay 8. Eye setting on standard. Brand new Energizer battery and bolt very lightly lubed as per the pic few posts back.

abs I have set to 2, timer 2. But more importantly, what is your breech delay set to? I recommend setting it to 5 or 6ms

What version bolt do you have and what kind of paint are you having this issue with? If you dont have the flat faced version it could be an issue with ball roll back in the breach causing clipping in the stack upon firing which will break paint.
