Remove the left side grip and you should see the serial number. If there is no serial number, just register and put NONE in the serial number box (very rare, but there are 3-5 pre-productions out there.) To get the "V2" bolt, shoot Ken an email at Tech@MachinePaintball.com and ask for the new bolt (it won't make a difference unless you're shooting super small-bore paint....like .672 bore)

Stock triggers have pre/tension and activation point. there should be a metal bar within the frame that acts as a backstop to prevent the trigger from hitting the microswitch. I like to bend the microswitch lever slightly to get a nicer activation point. If you want full 4-way adjustability like the PE triggers, grab a trigger from Acid Customs.

Logo fix? Never heard of it. I have an Eye Cover fix, and various fixes in my tuning guide, but I've never heard of a logo fix.

The logos on the side aren't really meant to be removed, but I guess if you want to you can pop them out or super-glue them back in....I'm email Tech@MachinePaintball.com and see if they have new ones

Ok, that's much easier....well tools providing....

So when people crank on the reg like it's a throttle or something it tends to become offset. The easy fix is to just turn the top-hat back by about a quarter turn and then tighten it until it re-centers. Personally, I take the tophat off and threadlock it back in place so it doesn't move.

Just got vapor 044 in a trade 2 days back and test fired it just now. Just wow just freaking wow...this one just rips so smooth and I can barely hear the dam thing shoot its scary.

I did notice when you de-gas the vapor, it definitely holds enough air for another shot in the reg, gotta be careful with that.

Ok I have a vapor and I bought it used cause I didn't have 1650 to waste on a hobby lol I like it it's nice BUT it feels like a jackhammer !!! The kid said it was tuned by shootnpoo wich I think is b.s cause shootnpoo is amazing with markers !! It has tons of barrel rise so I'm thinking that the kid tried to tube it himself and ended up messing up the gun.. So does anyone know how can I tune it ??? I'm use to bob long rippers and g6rs just setting the lpr and hpr so this is new to me ..

there's a tuning guide in my sig that everyone seems to like....just FYI, the marker is mid-low pressure only....you're using a 550psi tank, right? because 800 PSI is no bueno.

In the same tuning guide, there's a fix for that in the troubleshooting section. The reg over-tightens if you treat it like a throttle, but it's really easy to fix

I'm finding that bolt diagram on page 13 real niffty, anyway we can stick that on page 1? Or better yet put it in your tuning guide ProMod? Like to just refer to one link.

The tuning guide is going to be overhauled with a leak chart, more pictures, video fixes and a hell of a lot more information really soon. I'm in the process of writing it, and you'll see the mods were nice enough to add a few more posts after my initial one so I can write more. You can tell I have a lot to say xD

ok sorry i feel like i am blowing you up here promod and thanks for all the help but when i unscrew the reg and look down inside the top it looks like a hex slot way down inside there but the problem is i think it may be either stripped or something because non of my allens fit it... can you maybe post i pic? or a couple detailing the process i havent even been able to take the top part of the reg off

also as far as i can tell the lower metal part that sticks off the trigger is supposed to be the back stop but there is nothing for it to actually hit to stop the trigger in there to my trigger is just hitting the microswitch right now...

no worries dude, it's not even my thread, we're just taking control

That screw isn't stripped. It's for a transfer port housing; Machine doesn't include the allen key for that size (as in, you should NEVER adjust it because it'll cause a leak in the HPR which leads to the noid venting) if you have that allen key size however, you can easily use the screw to loosen the top hat and then re-tighten the screw so it doesn't leak.

That being said, I'll make a video today showing the "reg fix" and a couple different ways to disassemble the reg. it's super easy to work on.

thanks alot one more question is the lever on the asa supposed to flop around when it isnt aired up?

and are your grips a little loose around the front i slid folded paper in between the battery and the grip to make it tighter

Yes, because there's no pressure on the ASA pin, and Yes, the grips get softer as they break in....someone hinted at potentially making new grips, but that's in the works.

hey awesome vid really helpful and shows everything... i think that hex inside the tophat is stripped on mine

i think so anyway i guess ill have to try the hardware store tomorrow to see about 9/16 but i found a multi screwdriver attackment that seems to fit but when i tried to turn it it wouldnt budge

Hey guys I was wondering If someone could check something for me. If I look down into the breach from the top of my vapor with the bolt out towards the back there is a visable O-ring. Looking toward the front of the gun there appears to be a slot which looks like it may be for an O-ring. Is there supposed to be another O-ring there? and If so what size. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

yup, there should be an 017 in there to prevent blow-back and to center the bolt.
