Sure am. But I really don't want to have to buy a new loader in order to use a special bolt in one of my guns, haha. I guess i'll have to wait and see how the Machine hopper operates before I make any drastic changes.

Go to the PSP MAO or NPPL DC Challenge.
At the PSP events Vipers are doing the Test Drive, they are doing one this weekend at CFPS, where you can use a Vapor at the chrono to get a feel for it. I imagine they will do something similar at the DC Challenge.

The Vipers have been using the Vapor since before Chicago (perhaps at the Phoenix event). So they have been putting tons of paint through theirs and they haven't really reported any issues.

Turn down the tension on your rotor?

you can't adjust the tension on a Rotor, without changing the spring in the unjam trigger assembly

Yes you can, right? Just turn out the grub screw?

It's already down all the way anyway.

I have 18 cases at a minimum through mine so if anyone should have had problems by now it should be me. Following my tuning guide, the only problem I had was after I first cleaned out the reg. I messed up and didn't re-align the top cap and it over pressurized the 'noid. No damage done, it just scared me for a second. As for in-game issues, I haven't had a problem so far. no chopped balls, a few barrel breaks from bad paint and rain, nothing out of the ordinary.

*edit

as for rotor settings, the spring is on a grub-screw/rod that can be adjusted (tightened or loosened) to change stack tension. I normally cut 3-5 loops off the spring, stretch it out, and then adjust settings. Then I can shoot GI's ultra-brittle tournament 3-star without turning my hopper into a blender!

Has anyone received their new asa pin yet? I have the older model and its starting to give me some trouble. Its just doesn't sit right and causing some leaking when I screw my tank in before I engage it. Whats weird about it is sometimes the gun will fire right when I screw the tank in then leak out the port in the back. Then i move the asa around a bit and the gun starts working again. The gun was just fine the last time I used it, only one case of paint through it. What do y'all think??

We have the new pins but we need everyone to send me a email via tech@machinepaintball.com to get them shipped out. Also need to make sure they are registered. Even if you bought a used marker re register it so you get the updated parts.

I was the one that contacted you the other day about the weird drill hole in the back of the gun with pictures as well as i have registered the marker its VP0065. I can send you another email about the asa pin but if things don't work out tomorrow the gun is going straight to MP. I don't have the tools or time to work on it if that is alright.

Oh yes please do send it in to us if you don't think you could handle working on it. I would really like to see that body in person.

Just got another vapor in for repairs; leak out the back cap. Turns out the little broski loosened the transfer port screw instead of the FT screw. I'd like to reiterate that the feather touch screw is the SMALLEST silver screw; the one that lines up with the vent port under the body.

Should be the 3rd screw from the left, 2nd from the right.
so if you see the screws like this: (A B C D), C should be the feather touch.

i sent out my vapor last tuesday, will you guys just ship it back with the new ASA pin? i have seen some vids talking about a v2 bolt? because i guess the v1 bolt was too deep or something causing chops because the ball would roll forward in the breech causing the bolt to smack the ball rather than push it out? will that also be installed? ill send an email too.

Didn't see this on the front page, but what is a good pressure to run a vapor at? I currently have my tank at 450 PSI output is that a good pressure to run my vapor at?

Anyone notice that in the manual the the rear o-ring on the bolt is a 016 50 shore urethane? Where are people getting these orings or what are people using in place of them? Also the stock one on mine is black, is it actually urethane?

How about the 017 purple inner can oring, is that actually urethane as well?

What are people using for the 017 front and rear breach orings, urethane, buna, HBNR?

The 013 bolt guide orings appeared to be buna stock but since then machine paintball sent some translucent urethanes orings.

Pooty sent what appeared to buna 013 bolt guide orings with his pooty bolt but those did not last long. After about 6 cases the cleaned un-lubed bolt would just slide off the cleaned un-lubed bolt guide while testing the oring fitment.

Check my tuning guide. I use 70 durometer orings for everything except the bumpers.

sail is 016/70
can, breech, and the four valve housing orings are all 017/70
bolt guide should be some size that's slightly larger that 013, but you can get away with 013/70.

I don't really see a reason to start mixing and matching materials when I have a formula that already works perfectly
