*Attention players*
We wanted to post this event thread soon to get you guys the most current updated information, with that said, we still are working out some more of the details with PSP, and the APPA system which we will announce as soon as we get it. Some of this includes information regarding player classification, player ID's, season prizes, format structures, etc. Please have patience with us as we work through the transition of becoming a PSP affiliate league. We should have everything squared away very soon.
You'll notice registration fees have increased for the Novice and Rookie Divisions. We've increased prices slightly in order to help accommodate for the added expenses of running a third field with the additional refs, and also to have a little more room for paying out for bigger 1st place prizes (now $650 for 1st Place in Rookie, $800 for the Novice division).
Just FYI, we're hoping to invest in a 2012 PSP Sup Air field and a score board soon.
Thank you for your patience as we get things lined up for event #3. We will be continually updating information so stay tuned.

Spike, what happens is you would play lets say in a bracket with 4 other teams.
So you're going to have a minimum of 8 games and a maximum 12 games depending on whether you have to play the third game against each team to determine the winner of that match-up.

So it depends on how many teams are in our said division then rite? so if there was 12 teams we get 24 games min?
Or dose it go 3 brackets of 4 = 12 teams and the winners of each bracket go on? meaning we dont get to play all the teams just randoms one instead?

Spike, if we do do brackets in the beginner division (not for sure yet- will know soon though) you'll get matched up in brackets per seeding from previous events to make things fair. The 3-man divisions will most likely play 4-5 other teams in a bracket instead of the traditional way we've been doing it of round robin- everyone plays everyone.

In the case of the above bracket the top 6 or 3 from from each bracket advance into the next bracket. So on and so fourth. If you want to play more games you have to win.
Say
Dynasty. | Russia
Ironmen | Houston heat
Thunder. | Tampa bay
All advance. Next bracket may be
Dynasty | iron men
Russia. | Houston
Tampa. | Thunder
Winners come out
Top 4 is
Russia. |. Houston
Tampa. | Iron men
Russia beats Tampa and Houston beats ironmen
Top 2 is
Russia and Houston Play for first and second place
Bottom 2
Tampa and ironmen Play for third and fourth place.
Event over!! If you get knocked out in the first bracket it's your own fault if you do not get very many games. Shows who truly the best all the way through the tourney and who can play consistently. A fluke loss can ruin a tourney for a team and make it for another in the round robin format. So it doesnt show true team strength. Good explanation?

It's on you if you get sent home early. More pressure for sure but with increased prize pools, championship invite, and a possible paid entry to world cup psp, a lot is at stake to not be playing at your best.

Well we understand that and at this point we are playing to have fun as we are not at full strenth so I gusee we will have to play pump again just to be able to play and have a good time. Its all good though we support all the teams who are on the game and wish them luck maybe some day we will be back up to strenth to play in the division we would like to play in untill then its all about fun.
