Why is cs not making these yet...
We all know machine shops...
If I had one I coul talk to a friend of mine and whip out several magnesium ones along with aluminum.
I think it would be cool if they we also made out of what the nox bolt were made out of with the aluminum ones...

These bolts are actually lighter then the NOX bolts. And more durable. He tried similar material to the nox bolts and had lots of problems with tolerances and machining. His problem recently isn't finding a machinist. Its finding one that can machine within the tolerances. The last run the machinist ruined several thousand dollars of magnesium bar stock.

Yeah.. I don't think its that he just needs any old machinist.. From what I gather its very difficult to properly machine magnesium in such a way that it fits within very tight tolerances over a whole batch of bolts.
Frankly surprised lurker even wants to continue with the Eigenbolt for the shocker after all the money he's lost on the whole project. He must hit the gym hard as **** to keep his rage from going super sayen.

That was the initial plan. It didn't work out so well.

Lol. Someone needs to post a picture of Lurker with glowing yellow hair.

So I see all of this hype for the bolt here, can you compare it to the competitition?
Velocity consistency? Efficency per tank? Shot smoothness? Does it use a spring? What other components does it need to operate at peak preformance? What is the price for one of these supposedly? I understand that they are on back order, but if they will not be available for quite some time I may lean towards getting a pooty bolt setup since they are available.
They should be no less consistent than any other bolt, uses a spring, require no additional parts, reduced recoil due to lightweight Mg construction, efficiency of 1800-2300 shots per 68/45.
Honestly don't feel the pooty bolt is an upgrade over a sprung stock bolt. People seem to experience breaks, lube issues, and the flat face imo is a marketing gimmick that reduces flow and doesn't improve ball indexing.

Find me one person that has had a problem with it... Just more made up stuff from a person that doesn't have one that likes to bad mouth a day away.
I almost thought the picture on the front page was a plastic bolt.

Well, I don't have time to search for a shocker version at the moment, but I had seen this before and the bolts are virtually identical so it should do. Ignoring the NOX, there are clearly breaks with the Pooty core.
Also, don't accuse me of making stuff up. The flat face is effectively useless for ball indexing, if you did the math yourself you'd know that.

Speaking of bad mouthing, you're doing it without even having a legitimate gripe. Everyone in here knows it's not plastic and looks like that because it's been PTFE coated. Thank you for making yourself look foolish.

finding one isn't the problem, the problem is money.. quality is expensive

What ever happened with your bolt m98? I was interested in giving one of those a try.
I cant machine them myself.. take to long on manual machines and I designed it being machinined on a cnc lathe with live tooling.. I simply don't have the time.
I could have another shop do it but your talking $100+ per bolt for the quality I want.
I was thinking purchasing my own turning center and bar feeder and machining them myself but again I don't have time right now.
