Okay so here's my success story. so far. It's still a work in progress.
It all started out with my wife. I wanted to get into guns again. She said "You have $25 to spend then. So I got to work.
I bought this for 25
I found a guy who had an etha he JUST bought. he dunked it in water, broke it.
I asked if what he wanted for it and he said
"Just give me your pump."
I didn't hesitate.
On the way to his car I was stoked. I could fix this, maybe 100bucks or so.. maybe more. I'd be getting a $200 profit.
He gets in his truck and turns around and hands me ALL of this
Empire 56/45 that has a hydro date less than a month old, empire prophecy, and a Etha. I offer him cash for the other stuff but he said "I wont need it with the pump, just give me your 68ci"
And for that he added a cheetah I4
I gladly did and went on my way, BUT IT GETS BETTER!
That night I get it home and find out there's nothing wrong with the gun but a gunked up noid. (This took a lot of tinkering with a friend after he BROKE IT after trading him for his ego.(inside joke))
So basically for my 25 dollar gun and 30 dollar tank I had about $550 dollars worth of gear. So I sold the etha, kept the rest for myself.
I gave my wife all the money I made except about 100 bucks.
I cruised craigslist, and found a quest. Nothing special. just an 07ish quest. Gold bolt and a halo. for 100 bucks. Not bad right?
I thought about keeping it until somebody I know saw it. They had nam flashbacks, (good ones) and nearly killed me. Telling me it was their first gun and they'd give anything to have it.
He did just that, he gave me 2 sly profits (I sold one back to him for 30) and 200 dollars without me even asking.
I sold one sly for 70 and then I had 300 from my 100.
Now remember that Cheetah I4? Posted an ad on here in the BST for I think 50 bucks. Kid offers me a 09 PMR. I jumped on that. but it was just an 08.
I still took it with a CP 2 piece
I sold it the day I got it for 200.
So now, from my 25 dollars, I had made 300 + gear
gave 200 to my wife to keep her happy.
traded back to 400 dollars
So I found a nice little PM7, and a Phantom
The PM was 275, a reasonable price, but the phantom was 60 for a huge kit
A few days later I put them both for sale, I got offered a DM7 for my PM7 (jumped on it)
and traded my phantom for this shocker lot
So for 350, I got the PM7 and phantom. I traded the phantom for a shocker lot and the PM for a DM
I posted my DM on Ebay for 300 with a 375 Buy It Now. With 1 hour left and 0 bids, somebody bought it now. I don't know who or why, but I'm not asking questions about it lol
For the shockers, I got 200 alone for the guns and about 180 bucks for SOME of the parts.
I haven't totally done the math but today I bought another gun.
Got it for 525 and the loose ends of my shocker parts.
I'll post a TLDR later, but for now these WERE and are my guns.
I started with $25 and besides shipping costs, I've traded up to a victory, and Empire tank with a 2012 hydro year and a Prohpecy.
