clone gt serial number question

I have been through hundreds of these threads over the past two weeks looking for an answer, and maybe there is not a correct answer. I have seen that one of the macdev techs said they had a problem with a very slim number of clone gt sent out around the middle of april with solenoid problems. I am planning on purchasing a clone gt today and was wanting to know if there was a serial number range to look for this problem? I will need it this weekend for practice and next weekend for a tournament. Other than the few times and threads i have read that the noid actually needs to be replaced, i heard this marker was amazing. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

Thanks

(btw i have read the multiple threads of all the solutions to the problems that may seem to pose as noid problems, and thank you guys for the solutions to better analyze the true, if any, problem)

serial number = 0166 was mine, solenoid problem, drop off. Its at macdev now getting fixed under warranty. don't know if its random serial numbers or ones around mine that had noid problems.

haha yeah which i am glad you said this, i dont want macdev to post anything that will cause frantic in their customers. This thread was not meant to create any "oh mines in that range" type thing. Like said in original post, there may not be a range.

Just trying to be a smart buyer

Just get the GT out and shoot it! There were a very few that actually had a solenoid issue. There were some that were changed out that ended up not being the solenoid at all, but simple maintenance and such. They were not related to specific serial numbers. These things shoot amazing. If you have a specific performance issue, rest assured that you will be taken care of. If there is a problem, there is help at macdev.net/forum or a tech center can get it squared away.

I was worried bc of the problems, but i broke down and got one at chicago. #0250 and it works flawless. I had a oring shred on the on/off early satuday, which caused me to have to use my g6r but replaced the oring sat night with a slightly different sized oring from my gen 3 intimidator kit and gun worked. so used it all day sunday. put almost 5 cases through it already and it only gets better the more you shoot

All issues have been resolved with the noids, the serial breaks were GT 0001-GT0650
All but some have been change out due to those still working properly. But if buying new you should have no worries as long as you buy from a reputable dealer whom get new inventory all the time.
