Hey PBNation i am looking to make a new paintball Field in a mill in the Fall River area. i am thinking about making one 3 man field, one 5 man field, and one 7 man field. there will be gun techs, and i am looking into the proshop (which will deffinatly be there). the prices will be afordable (because i know how much the sport cost for young kids. this will be a safe enviroment for children and adults. i am almost thinking of doing the field like boston indoor paintball in chealsea Mass. we will be buying and selling used guns we will also have new guns as well. in the proshop we will have a gun tech always ready at the field, we will have upgrades for guns, tanks,tank covers, hoppers,jerseys,pants,pod packs,masks,and plenty of other stuff.

i am thinking about trying to open it by the middle of the summer till the end (around that time frame)

there will be plenty of tournaments going on

the rental guns are prob. going to be eclipse ethas.

also on our website we will have a section where you can set up the feild the way you want (but you will have to set up an appointment ahead of time)

i just have a couple questions thati would like the local paintballers opinions

Do you think there should be turf or carpet?
reballs or paint?
psp layout, or xball layout or both?
outdoor or indoor?
what type of rentals do you have in mind?
what should the fps be?

outdoor or indoor? Both if you had the space if not indoor so it can be a year round thing

Good call on the Ethas. They've worked out extremely well at PnL so far.

ya i was thinking of doing a 5 man indoor field with paint, then i was thinking of doing a little 3 man practice field with reballs. (all with turf) then i am going to make 2 or 3 outdoor fields. one of the fields will be a psp field, then the other two will be a 7 man NPPL fields

the markers will be ethas i think it is a good choice because people who are renting will get a real speedball experiance.

the FPS will be 280 and for tournaments it will be 300

thanks to all who have been giving me feedback on this topic and the field should be up and running offically toward the end of summer. we are going to have a cancer awarness tournament this comming january 3rd. the price for admition will be 100$ each person to play right now we have about 11 teams from 3 man to 7 man already booked. sooool.... if you will like to reserve a spot pm me.....

I want to tell you that I am very impressed with the ideas you have for this field, and I cannot wait to play on it. It is even better that a young man such as yourself is able to make such big moves in this difficult economy without help from your parents. thanks to everyone and sorry have not been on pbnation in while.... but ya i am getting all the plans together for the field. and the reason why i did not give the location was because i was not sure of the mill that it was going to be in ( which we are still looking ) because all of the mills so far are not as open as i would like it. im just trying to get some feedback from the actual players to see what they would like in a feild. and yes im 20 years old and trying to do this on my own....... lol but its whatever will have the feild open very soon!!!! cant wait!!

This thread is clearly not legit. Don't hold your breathe for a new paintball field in fall river.

Actually, if you know anything about local Zoning Commissions, it may take 3-4 months just to get approval to open up the business. After that it'll take a few months to get the facility up and running.

If he follows through, he may have this ready for the first of the year. IMO - If you want to do this.. follow through with your plans. Good things don't come easy! Good luck.

the plans are going good and i now have to find a mill that has a first floor open and will allow a paintball business/field may take a few weeks to get everything together and start constructing....
