Think about the experience difference between them though. (cheick and matt)
He's fought his whole career in the biggest promotion against a bunch of guys with a ton more experience. He's basically a toddler learning to walk, but with nails scattered on the floor. He's bound to fall and hurt himself.
In my opinion, they should send him to Bellator or some other mid-tier promotion so he can gain more experience. If you compare what he's accomplished vs. how little experience he has in this sport, you can see he's got a lot of potential.
"I'm a fighter. I believe in the eye-for-an-eye business. I'm no cheek turner. I got no respect for a man who won't hit back. You kill my dog, you better hide your cat"
Yeah, I thought that was Junior's fight to win, but Cain proved me wrong. He powered through all 5 rounds and JDS stood right in front of him =/ This is turning into a very healthy rivalry
Miller/ Lauzon was a crazy fight.
I figured if Cain could fix up his striking defense he could probably beat Junior. I just hope they don't do an instant rematch and Overeem can pass his drug tests. Don't really know why Overeem would need the massive size at this point. He'd be more deadly if he was faster.
Yeah, Lauzon was already a very well-respected fighter in my book, but that one brought him up several notches.
I'm not surprised Cain won, but I just thought Junior would've had a more competitive showing. Cain is a monster and I'm really excited to see Velasquez/ JDS III.
Anyone else hear about Mike Goldberg's 'supposed' adderall addiction? Apparently he's in rehab until he gets better. Watch this video starting at 4:20 for proof of his illness lol:
