I think it will be a good fight again, Silva best hope he found a way to stop Sonnen's take downs, if not it will be another long night for him, as I doubt Sonnen will tire again he looks to be in great shape.

^Yeah, agreed on Sonnen/Silva II...
As for JDS/Mir, I've gotta side with JDS, but I think that Mir has as good of a chance of submitting JDS as JDS has of scoring a KO on Mir (if that makes sense). Should be a good fight, but I've got JDS scoring his first title defense.

Mir is only relevant because the HW division is historically ****ty. Hoping to see JDS knock him out.

I disagree. Mir is legit. His striking isn't on the level of some, but it's dangerous. His grappling is damn good. He's huge. He's athletic. He's a solid heavyweight.
I think Mir is a lot closer to JDS's level of striking than people think. I also think JDS's grappling is a lot closer to Mir's than people think. I think it's going to be a great fight no matter where it goes.

My thoughts as well. I'd still bet on JDS if I had to, but Mir is a dangerous matchup for anyone. Heavy hands, quick thinking even when rocked and one of the smarter fighters. I think Junior will get him with the speed advantage though. |

Mir ground game could pose a threat to JDS in my mind but I think if Mir truly plans on standing with JDS he is going to get out boxed and rocked real quick.
