My LCD should arrive tomorrow and I wanted to lube it up before I take it out this weekend. I read the lube thread in the ultimate sticky and have one question. Do I need that special LPR multi tool I keep hearing about to do it?It doesn't mention it in the sticky so I'm not sure if I need to get one.

Scratch that it does say, but while I have got your attention it does give some alternatives to use like a dental pick or something. Do these alternatives work just as well as the tool?

A dental pick or small hex key will work, although it's a lot less convenient than using the official tool or an extractor screw (speaking from experience). But you're in luck, because the sight rail screws on the LCD are the same thread as the LPR piston. Just remove one of the sight rail screws, thread it into the LPR piston, and use your fingers or a pair of pliers to pull it out. Make sure the gun is titled down when you do it so you don't lose your shims and spring washers.
