what reasons(money isnt an issue) can you give me to not get the following:
M&P15-22 MOE FDE
Slide Fire Solutions stock
JARD 1.5lb trigger

slide fire stock would be later on id get the gun and the trigger for now.
trigger is only 140, gun is 440 otd for me and the SFS stock is 335.00 online.

Typically i consider the slidefire to be a useless idea, but after seeing people use it on a .22 i see its true value.
fun.
to me bumpfiring an ak or ar15 isnt fun, not accurate, not cheap.
on a .22 it would be minimal cost to shoot, and very controllable.

thoughts?

Not trying to start anything, but weren't you one that was criticizing me for wanting a slide fire stock?

Anyway, would a .22lr even have enough recoil to make it effective?

It's been shown to work, at least on the S&W 15-22.

How?

Magic.

i was, you wanted it on a 5.56
to me its useless on that.
but on a .22 that i will be putting a spare 5.56 muzzle break on, it will be easy to keep on target and cheap as hell to shoot, so its not as much of a waste to me.

it functions fine on mp15-22
functions better when you put the jard 1.5 lb trigger on it.

Going to order the barrel, upper, gas tube and low pro block tonight. I'm going to try and find the Magpul BUS, BCG, and handguard used to cut down on the costs.

Government takin' da po' man's money.

What are the favorite places to score cheap ammo? I just recently built a BCM middy and am looking for find some bulk (1-2k) 55 fmj and then a few hundred 75-77gr loads. I don't have reloading capabilities at this time so hand loads are out.

Ammunitiontogo.com and Palmetto State Armory usually have good prices.

Dang. Palmetto State is sold out of the M4 profile barrels. Gonna email them tomorrow and see when they'll get them back in. Might have to get it from some place else.

That's 100 more than the PSA though....

But on a side note, found some guy wanting to sell a Vltor VIS for 500. Good deal or no? A little more than what I wanted to spend on an upper and handguard. Not sure if it comes with a BCG or not, if it does I'll probably be picking it up as that seems like a good deal.

Take it to a local gunsmith to get it done quickly. No need to buy one.
