Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it.
I know that not everyone likes angels, but the anno schemes are timeless. I still have to decide what I am going to anodize the project angel that I assembled. Since I already have splashes, i was thinkng more along the lines of a fade or single color. I have time to decide since I'm getting married this weekend lol.
I still need a few more pieces for the autococker collection. Trying to find a nice vert feed Evolution has been a challenge. They keep getting snagged up before I get to purchase them.
Vegard isn't lying about the Eclipse. This thing is MINT. I'm almost afraid to use it. Almost lol.
John-Love your ripper convertible. I'm thinking of doing the same with mine. It looks alot cleaner to me.

I honestly didn't love my Ripper until I had the sight rail chopped off. Yours is pretty cool already because it has the logo and no windows through the gun. But it would be perfect as a convertible. You should do it.

Glad to see my old Sly Fly in your collection. Also nice that it is still local so I can see it out at the field from time to time!
My favorite is your Westwood A1 fly. Simply stunning.

Thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it.
I hope to have some updated pictures tonight of my Father's angel and the VM68. The Vm-68 ugly, but it has some cool history behind it. It was the first one to recieve the pro-comp Delrin internals. I think I still have the original invoice!

That Angel collection puts my old Adrenalin Angel to shame.... Love the Joy Division version though, black and gold is where it's at.

very purdy, who is doing your 'eclipse' anodizing for you if you don't mind me asking?
that green splash is under-rated to say the least, heh. still have my original Eclipse LED with that color scheme.

The Eclipse was anodized by Preston of 125customs.
I'm not sure if he is taking work right now, but he does a great job.

Its a shame that Bazzoka Boy turned out to be such a **** business man in the end. Great collection though.

Actually you can tell. The green is an exact match! Its an almost Emerald green. I love the color.
Preston does some very nice work. Almost thinking about sending another his way when he has time.

Now I have to decide what to anodize the ripper autococker once I get it back from having the sight rail taken off. And since Bazookaboy is no more, I'll have to find someone else trustworthy to do it.
I love splashes, but I think that would hide some of the milling. Maybe an acid wash?

Not sure if Preston is still accepting work.
But a convertible ripper too? You copying all the best guns I own?

Preston isn't accepting work at this time, so that puts me on a search for a reliable anodizer.
Not quite copying lol, it will be a little different. I'll post up some of the in progress pictures. We can't help the fact that we have good taste in markers lol.
I am honestly thinking of milling the body out so that it takes a sleeve on the top tube like an intimidator. That I think would be something original, and I could match the tube to the pneumatics. It wouldn't be an area that holds air, so I wouldn't have to worry about reliablility issues.
I'm also looking at getting some weight cut off by milling slots in the pump arm area , except you wouldn't be able to see these on the other side of the body. They wouldn't be all the way through.
Just some ideas I'm kicking around. I think I may get it drilled to 2k specs as well while it is in the shop. I'd love to find a new backblock, or have a new one made. I'd actually LOVE to have a P-block ripper!
Like I said, just some ideas.

A P-block would be sweet.
And I was just kidding you about the similar guns. You do have some excellent taste.

Might I suggest Mario at FX Anodizing?
After talking to him on the phone the other night its clear to me that he knows what he's doing and genuinely cares about all the markers that come through the shop...everything I have seen him do comes out amazing too...
Just a thought :-)
