Considering Vanguard had some of their customers complaining about anno fade on their creeds, I'd say Vanguard has got some quality control issues that have yet to be taken care of.

This is the first time I've seen wear like that,
We have demo guns which are handed out every week
and get beaten and bashed and don't show wear like that.
Our process is no different to any others, it's very strange for that to happen

Yeah I'm just astounded how this happened. I just wiped it down with a microfiber towel and some water after last practice and put it back in the box. It sat for probably 3 weeks and i saw that last night.

Out of all the Demons and Creeds i sold, serviced, built ect this is the first insident i have seen any fading on other than our team marker Demons but it was only on grip frame where your hand rubbed off or wore the anno down. Also ours were polished lime green frames so its to be expected with the amount of use and abuse we put them through for an entire season and ours were the first 7 ever made in start of production.

Anno fading such a yours is due to a chemical or cleaner penitrating the metal. Anno will not fade sitting in a box for 3 weeks it is impossible. The dye would have faded long before you bought that gun from Russ. Besides it was stolen from a store then sold to you and the origional owner sold to you after the fact so we wont get into that. It is possible the person who had it before you ( GUY WHO STOLE IT) did use a chemical on it and damaged it to a point to when you cleaned it that it was more noticeable.

Yeah all I did was use tap water and a micro so I would assum that me wiping it off just made it more noticable. I was just really confused when I pulled it out of the box.

It was perfect when you last used it at practice 3 weeks ago. I handled it myself.

You hadn't wiped it down or anything before that?

I wiped it down with a microfiber and tap water. I have done this with all my markers and have never had this happen.

Also since you are suggesting that I did this please explain how only the back portion is like that when I wiped down the WHOLE gun with the same micro with water.

It sat in the box for 3 weeks. When he took it out to use it again, it was faded.

He is just asking if anyone else has had similar issues. No need to get hostile.

The guy who knows more about anodizing is going to the guy with lesser knowledge for an explanation... Logic fail.

Rudz, he's a big boy dosnt need someone to answer for him. I have been doing anodizing for years and it's very difficult for me to think it just faded on its own. I personally know the anodizing work that comes from the factory and I can contest to its durability along with professional players that use markers and the anodizing has been nothing but spot on. So what im trying to get at here is how it happened. Not saying he used anything but water or anything else. I've seen paint from some paintballs if left on for a period of time effect the anno. So with that it is hard to believe that storing it in the original box for 3 weeks and it showed no sign of flaw, then reopening after this time it's flawed tells me something penetrated the metal. That is the only way this could of happened and the serial # he owns # 00071 I believe which was anodized at the same time as 20 other black demons that show 0 issues with anno is just very strange.

Not asking for an explanation I'm asking how he thinks it a flaw in the anno when it's purely a reaction to something.
