Don't worry about it. I have not had experience with Tonsixer, but have had other guns annoed aftermarket and they worked just as good as before.

I met the owner of those two guns at Nationals. They both looked and shot great. You only start running into issues if you overstrip or strip multiple times.

Which I assume you know how to avoid overstripping and this will be its first time so I feel this will be safe enough. I caught him on an off day

Hmmmm, I talked to the DYE tech at the WCPPL tournaments this year and he said as long as the inside of the marker was protected (left annod from factory) that they held up OK. So, as long as only the exterior of the marker is re-finnished, it should be ok. (But that is what I've been told)

I can understand the logic with protecting the inside but all the spoolies you see, DYE's incldued were stripped internally and externally and they all work great.
