Titration frequency.

Is there a baseline for titration frequency for a hobbyist anodizer? Also on a small scale operation, if you find your Aluminum content to be running high would it be better to just make a fresh bath or remove half and try to balance?

Swapping the entire bath might be a little overkill but at least then you know it's right.

Yeah, but depending on the frequency it's not really a big deal. That's what I am trying to get an idea of; about how often the bath reaches it's tipping point. Maybe someone has observed after anodizing roughly X sq inches it's time to titrate and adjust.

I titrate every month or so just to make sure I'm on the money.

You will find reaching the threshold for dissolved aluminum is really difficult in a hobby setup. Unless you are dissolving your cathodes.

I only replace half of the bath at the time using the half that I remove as an acid dip for effects.
