"Dear Metro West Customers,

We here at Boston Paintball would like to thank you for your over 16 years of support and patronage. We are very excited to announce the opening of our new field and store location on Rt 126 Ashland just 4 short miles from our current location on the Framingham/Ashland line. It is no secret that with the emergence of the internet and the slowing retail trend that a standalone brick and mortar store becomes a less and less viable business. The player base that we have created and supported over the last 16 years has often had to travel into Boston or take a hiatus from playing for sometimes 5 months of the year. This new paintball Megaplex will bring 12 month play not only for paintball but Airsoft players alike while bringing you the same great selection from our fully stocked retail store. This highly visible new location will expose paintball/airsoft to many new eyes and give them the necessary safe area to try the sport that we love and hopefully get the hook that we experienced all those 20+ years ago. We know that paintball throughout New England benefits from the positive exposure our facilities give to both new players and experienced. We will continue to improve and will be hard at work over the next few months to bring you a playing facility you will be proud to call home. Look for a store opening sometime in July with the fields following right behind…

Actually, the location is conveniently just 4 miles from our current Framingham location (on the Ashland / Framingham line). Stand alone retail stores are becoming less and less sustainable so in the best interest of the retail side of our business and as a means to expose more and more people to the sport while taking into consideration the substantial customer base WE have built in the area over the past 16 years - putting the 2 together - in THIS location just makes sense. We are very excited - and look forward to continuing our mission to bring as many new players into the game as we can!

The no-cloumns and OVERLOOKING sound quite sweet? Also, 3 regulation fields makes it the biggest bp yet. Gonna be fun for rotos since there will be less teams. Anyone know if it's indoors or outdoors?

reed I'm sorry but i had to comment on this. ( indoor or outdoor)????? there are no columns in the playing field and the mention of it having overlooking features didn't give you an idea. the " plans being drawn and foundation is set" should be a clue or how about the 50,000 sq ft how many times you hear of an outdoor facility being measured in sq ft. the new ''Complex or Megaplex'' should have finished any doubt off bud.

Just an update from the fb page-The fields should be open later this month (August).

I hope I'm not bursting any bubbles but this will be different than Chelsea - as someone pointed out - why compete with yourself - so Ashland will be more rec player oriented but will still have an indoor paintball field - Chelsea will remain the primary winter rotation field - Ashland will be a multi use facility - and I think once it's finished the casual player will be quite impressed - tourney guys if we didn't have what we have in Chelsea - Ashland may have gone in a different direction but I promise you - this place will be a BALL. it will remind you of why you loved the game when you first were introduced. It will feature paintball, airsoft and splatmaster for the younger players.

This is the store - it is open currently (moved from Rt 9 location)


Once we have more things to share I will post some photos - the turf for the indoor field should be down next week - and then it will start looking like a paintball field - the timeline is end of August - for sure.
