me: are you ****ing dumb(no **** he doesn't), he won an NC when tebow was getting like 8 snaps a game. meyer only won a single NC with a dual threat qb starting, I'd hardly call that "dominating with dual threat QBs(he used the plural).

yea, dual threat means run well and pass well, not run poorly and pass worse

Urban was a good coach before he got to Florida, he just didn't win the NC. He went undefeated a couple times at Utah using Alex Smith as a dual threat. Really aside from the first NC with Florida he always had a dual threat QB and even then he rotated Tebow in for some snaps.

Yeah. We have some good recruits this year too but they won't be starting first game. Hopefully we have some freshmen doing work by the time OSU rolls around though.

I mean, I guess you could call Alex Smith a dual-threat qb since he ran the ball a fair share, but he was still predominately a passer and went #1 overall as a passer, not a dual threat.

Not to mention, its not like Utah played a tough schedule or ever got to a BCS bowl with Smith. The only ranked team they played in that undefeated season was Pitt in their bowl game...

So I'm going to Illinois for a week in June, and I'll be checking out Chicago for a day or two. Suggestions for things to check out? Specifically any local restaurants or the like.

Sorry, I missed this.

Laurinaitis is the Exec VP of Talent Relations. He was a wrestler in the '90s and did some stuff in Japan. He came into the storyline last year after HHH took over as COO of the company. He was behind things going haywire under HHH which led to a vote of no confidence for HHH and Laurinaitis being named Interim GM of Raw. He's clashed with both Cena and CM Punk the whole time he's been GM. At WrestleMania, he put together a team to face Teddy Long's team to be permanent GM of Raw and Smackdown, and won. The Raw after WM, Brock Lesnar showed up and gave Cena an F5. Laurinaitis gave Lesnar a contract to basically come in and take Cena out and be the new face of the company. Lesnar put the screws to Laurinaitis and demanded a bunch of perks, which he agreed to. Cena beat Lesnar at Extreme Rules. HHH showed up to tell Lesnar that Laurinaitis didn't have the authority to agree to all those perks and that the original contract would stand. Lesnar broke HHH's arm and announced through Paul Heyman the following week that he quit. It is currently popular speculation that Lesnar will face HHH at SummerSlam.

After Cena beat Lesnar, Laurinaitis set a match up at Over The Limit between himself and Cena. The Raw before Over The Limit, Big Show made fun of Laurinaitis' voice and was fired for it. Cena revealed a letter from the board of directors stating the match between him and Laurinaitis was to be 1 on 1, only won by pinfall or submission, no one allowed at ringside, and any WWE employee who interfered would be immediately terminated. Cena beat the **** out of Laurinaitis for the whole match until Big Show showed up and knocked Cena out. Since Big Show was fired he faced no consequences. Laurinaitis gave Big Show an ironclad contract for aligning himself with him.

Current best wrestlers to watch: CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Alberto del Rio, Jericho, maybe Ziggler. A couple guys who are talented I'd like to see more of are Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Ryback, Ezekiel Jackson, Mason Ryan.

As far as Cena goes, he's been a face since he turned face during his thuganomics gimmick. He's been getting a lot of heat in the past year, but his recent feuds with Lesnar and Johnny Ace have the crowd pretty firmly behind him again.

now imagine if you had used all the time you spent learning this much about the WWE and instead learned about the stock market?

utah was a **** pile program before he got there then he raised them to dominating the schedule they used to lose to and putting them on the national radar. i would say that was pretty respectable, regardless of strength of schedule, and apparently florida did too

also, great gatsby trailer. i almost never see movies in theatre, this will probably be one of them though

still, the only true dual threat QB he had was Tearbro. That's not dominating with dual threat QBs

he used smith as a dual threat and he definitely had one in josh harris (one of only 2 QB's ever to rush and pass for 40 TD's at an FBS school) when he coached at Bowling Green. the only QB he had that was not a dual threat was leak and when he had leak he used a 2 QB system with a dual threat guy...

3/4 QBS were run/pass guys, i think the S is warranted.
