Ufford Hills had a group come out yesterday at 6pm and they stayed until 10pm! The same group is coming back today with another group of rentals at 6pm. Look on the thread and find our website and facebook for information or contact info.

Hello everyone!

We have had a good couple of weeks since I last posted, wanted to share some updates.

The tire field has gotten larger and can support groups of 40 players! Also, the woodsball field has gotten some new bunkers.

We are equipping the field with a credit card machine on Wednesday and giving 10% discounts this weekend for anyone who goes to the booth at the Clay county fair this weekend!

10 more Tippmann 98s will be coming in on Thursday, we can now rent out to 26 players.

A group of over 20 came a few days ago and we have been having regular groups coming out every week!

We finished the tire field, we now have all the bunkers in place for this 200 sq. ft. field! I will be making a video field tour by this weekend.

Update!

A group of 35 is coming out at 4pm today and anyone is welcome to join. We will not have any rentals because of the group but anyone with their own gear is welcome to play.

10 more Rental markers have come in and they are equipped with air tanks. We also bought a scuba tank and get free fills in town, we will not be able to play paintball all year round!

Ordering a new skid of paint, should be here on Thursday.

Lastly, we will be ordering some gear for purchase at the Pro shop. If anyone wants to see something specific let us know.

Ufford Hills will be supplying the gear and paint for a tailgate program for University of South Dakota this Saturday. From 10am-1:30pm paintball will be available at the tailgate nation field!

Hello everyone!

Finally the first few weeks of a new school year gone by and we can breath a little again. We at Ufford Hills have been making improvements and are ready for Fall paintball.

Practice Schedule

Anyone who wishes to participate in practices at 11:00am on Saturdays at Ufford Hills is welcome. The field rate is discounted, but participants are expected to listen to the coaches and aid with set-up and tear down, BYOP only. Air bags will be used and participants will play tournament style games with evaluations afterwards.

Reball practice at the Vermillion Armory will start with set-up at 7:30pm and end around 9:00pm. Their is no admission charge, but players are expected to bring their own air (air is available through me at a price). Clean tennis shoes are needed and drills will be the main focus. Participants are expected to help with set-up and clean up.

Updates

New Rental markers are in, and even though they are used they look like they have never been shot before!
Shelving is up and Alex is getting ready to put the ceiling up on the shop.
We have Rental tanks filled with air, as well as one scuba tank for a few air tank fills.
We have been supplying paintball program to the tailgate before USD home football games, go and check it out.
A local news team will be coming out to film paintball players at 3:30pm this Saturday. If you want to be on the news come out this Saturday! Anyone is welcome.

This coming weekend is the first annual Fall intramural tournament for the University of South Dakota. Eight teams of 5 will be competing at Ufford Hills this Saturday starting at noon to claim 1st place for the first ever USD tournament.

The tournament is only for college students and faculty, but anyone is welcome to come spectate.

Other fields will be open at the time, but only a few rentals will be available because of the tournament.

This year has all been about getting our heads above water and getting fields built. Next year I plan on building two more fields which can be connected with the others and I do plan on having a big annual game. The big game would happen late Summer or early Fall.
