I was out helping train a new guy fresh outta tech school
I think its more attitude based than intelligence sometimes
This kid has a degree this and that. But can't follow directions word for word out of a book very well

...and then they complain when every other service makes fun of them.
On the ride back from Afghan a few days ago, we loaded up into a C-17, which had a hilarious crew on it... Our flight was all grunts, so the crew chief said "thanks for your service, and i mean thanks for fighting my share of the war for me".
Thought I'd share that with you all.

That's BS. But I will say sometimes the person who lays out the paper has no idea what is going on with the photo so they add a name that they are told to add or that they think to add.. Call and complain. For every mistake you find your prize is a free copy of the paper  |

Also, if I had my way (and about $2 Million) I would switch the AF to Canon gear... but alas... we are stuck with Nikon..
In other news: My wife decided to pursue her PhD to become a professor.. so I am totally just going to retire at 20, collect retirement and shoot swim suit models on the side.

A dude in my BMT flight that was lazy as **** and didn't even get passed the PAST test due to him not not giving a **** got reclassed to aerial gunner. This world has no justice. Good luck akruse, I wouldn't trust him with a dollar, let alone my life.
Also to everyone, no I don't constantly talk about my previous attempt. If people ask I answer, that's all. I'm avionics now ya herrd. I go to class, do my work and hang out with my buddies. All is under control.

working when you are having sinus issues sucks. I was told my my flt cc to shoot him a text if I'm not feeling well enough to work tomorrow. I feel like my head's in a vice at times. I did PT yesterday with the unit and played flag football this evening so I'm not doing too bad but when I'm not doing anything it becomes unpleasant.
