Muscle milk is straight protein and so will give you ****s if you don't munch plenty of fiber/starches with it. Try some green veggies (more fiber-y the better; ex. broccoli is better than peppers), wheat bread, or potatoes the meal following your supplement/workout or a couple tablespoons of peanutbutter before.
Two of my favorite post workout, pre-shake snacks are caprese with a little garlic salt/basil and triscuits and sharp white chedder. The caprese is also great when entertaining women. It's really simple but looks awesome and tastes fancy. Just check the colors, that **** POPS!
