Its worth the effort just to watch them hop up and down in disbelief after you gog them 3 games in a row

i cant reject a marker without firing it first and i always try to be positive with the new products from inexperienced companies because i like the competition between the companies that will eventually push the paintball upwards

Then ramping came along and it was ok but I pretty much stuck to double tap semi because I liked the control and I could usually shoot faster. Then came ROF caps and I had to switch to ramp but my fingers still moved like I was shooting semi. Then I got old and just trained myself to tickle the trigger in ramp instead. Now I hardly ever play because the modern generations are all spending their money on booze and drugs and trying to get them off the sofa is not worth the effort anymore.
Im almost 40 and just started playing 3 months ago. I wanted something that was exercise, competetive and I could do with my son. Now the wife is into it so its our family day activity, super happy about that. With work and life practice is pretty much limited to the 1-2 times a week we play. My son did admit to double tapping his fingers all day at school, his teacher is going to think he has a serious nervous twitch. "Mr. Sauer, I think your son may have tourette syndrome"

I think you need to re-examine your wording... Valken may be a "new" company but the people behind it are just as experienced in paintball as anyone at Planet Eclipse, Dye, KEE, or any other company. They did right with the Proton, this was not a case of taking the Aura and just slapping the Valken logo on it.

They spent a lot of time getting it right and at a price point that's more than reasonable. Where else are you getting a NEW marker with quality all-metal construction (I challenge you to find a milling mark on these guns), gas-through format, on-the-fly mode changing, tool-less disassembly, the ability to be lubed through the ASA, and all of the current tourney modes for under $350? The Axe is the only marker I can think of that even comes close in features and it's $100 more.

You aren't one of the youngins I'm talking about then if you've played for 25 years. I've played for 23 lol. The young ones have nothing to throw at us we haven't seen a million times

DTsmurf.........you can always just put the gun on ramp and let it do the work for you haha. It's good family fun.

Most fields we play at ask walk ons to only use semi auto so to set a good example for my son we follow the rules. If I go play airball or with an advanced walk on group I'll throw it on psp like everyone else

That would have to be a nice sparkley badge. Then again I'm not sure how they would be able to confirm it or not lol.

Oh silly CS rep, if you were a person I as a customer wouldn't be able to scream at you when I jam a screwdriver through my board!

EDIT: That joke would have been better placed on a Dell support forum...

design

I remember seeing this in the forums a long time ago. I always liked that design, whatever it is. I'm sure many sould have an issue with the extended trigger guard but still not a bad looking shooter.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
