Youth gear?
I'm 12, and have about a 26" waist. The circumference of my thigh is 12", and the dye kneepads only go down to 14 at the top. I need kneepads, elbow pads, and recommendations on slider shorts. I think pants are good, as the 2011 Empire LTD in small is my size. I will take recommendations on pants too. I'm fine in terms of jerseys, have a used pair that fits me ok.

So, I'm screwed until I get bigger. Shens. Well, since the pants go small enough to fit me, I guess I could get a pair. How do the Empire LTDs breathe? I live in florida, and it's an oven here. I also see the dye pants, which are not too much bigger than me, and are way more expenisive than the 2011 LTDs. Are they worth it?

work on those quads and hamstrings, maybe you can get a pair to fit. You are growing anyway, don't spend too much on pads and other softgoods right now. They won't fit in a year.

First off, HOLY CRUD! You're the first twelve-year old I've seen who actually spells stuff right, capitalizes stuff, and uses proper grammar! Keep it up!
On the main stuff...
I've found that for speedball, sliding pants are very useful. I personally don't play speedball that much, and when I do it's on dirt, so my ACU pants work just fine. Empire stuff breathes very well from what I've heard, and from the limited time that I wore some Empire fabric, I was kept cool. Dye's stuff is bulletproof, however, and I've found it to be a lot more comfortable. As for sizes, I've got no clue what they sell exactly, just that my size is a medium (17, 5' 11" and 140lbs). You'd have to ask someone else if they're worth it, I personally don't own any Empire or Dye pants at this time. Good luck and good hunting!

Hey no they don't make youth sizes anymore i use to have same problem. But the empire knee/elbow/slider shorts i guess run very small if i were you I'd check them out. If you go to ansgear.com you can look at the reviews of everyone saying the sizing chart is off an they are way smaller. Also i use to wear Nike knee pads they worked fine for awhile so if you have no luck finding any I'd look into those. Well hope this helped

Well, I'll just go with empire gear, and sell it when it doesn't fit me anymore.

Hey you could get some Planet Eclipse elbow and knee pads. I'm 13 and I bought large in both and all I have to do is tighten the a lot so they don't slip.
I got the 2011 Overload elbow and knee pads.

PBking: Thanks for the tip, those look just like the dye ones, but smaller. The small size goes down to 13, so I'll be fine. Thanks!

I agree. I just turned 14 and I've grown a lot since I was 12. You don't want to spend a whole lot of money on pants and pads that probably won't fit in a year. The only thing I would get would be some cheap knee pads

be agg and rock some BDU 6 color pants. thats what I wear to practice, and they're great and fit extremely well. but if you want actual pants, the 2012 dye pants come in your size. and Invert 2011 elbow pads come in small, which is what I wear. and idk about knee pads though
