Dont use the orange oring, when the ball swells they get stuck. I use a smaller blue one from the nt parts kit and it works perfectly.

Put a case through my nt11 with no problems at all yesterday. Used the purple 010 oring.

Well i really appreciated this mod. i am living in Thailand (hot and humid weather) and i have just tried this out with the brittle paints (dye purple shell & Evil green shell paint) that my NT10 usually get chopping. wow i had to say that this mod really stop the chopping issues. no feeding issues from paint swelling using the light blue 010 o-ring.

My set-up is

NT10

Dwell: 7
Pressure: 140-145
Spacer: only spacer body (In terms of consistancy, it's better than none)
Insert: NT11 green insert

and laser cut spool bumper made from Dye regulator seat. last much longer than stock orange bumper

I did the mod but when I shoot with just the ball in the stack . They are still popping out . It dose it less but I still have roll back. Has any body mest with the front of the bolt to get it flater . Maybe it's scooping the ball up as the bolt moves forward . If it was flat it would just push the ball.

read about this yesterday because i was having problems with my 10 breaking paint. I used this mod just went outside and used the paint that i was having trouble with and not a single break.

I actually made a prop rod for my old nt ( which I sold) that worked even better than the oring mod. I think I sent pics to blu and paintwhore. Don't know if they still have them.
Essentially I epoxied on a piece of 1/4" copper tube onto the end of the plunger so the face of the copper sat about 1mm behind the outer rim of the bolt face.
If you try this I take no responsibility for any damage caused by and improper mod. I'll check my comp for pics if I still have any and I'll post them up if I do
