I started playing paintball in 1998, and probably peaked in about 2005 as far as the amount that I played. Since then, my playing time has dwindled, and as such, most of these guns are long gone. However, it's great to look back at the odd journey that I've taken through the sport over the past 14 years.
1.
Brass Eagle Tigershark, converted into a semi-automatic "CockerShark", circa 2001. I also made a wooden foregrip and custom barrel extension for it, as well as fitted a bottomline. This was my first gun when I started playing paintball back in 1998.
2.
RF Autococker (with an awesome drop forward and 114ci air tank, of course), circa 2001.
3.
Airstar SuperNova, circa 2002. Articulating barrel, whsiper-quiet.
4.
Tippmann SMG-60 Sniper, circa 2003. First semi automatic and first fully automatic paintball gun. Fired .62 caliber paintballs from a 15 or 20 round magazine, and drank liquid CO2. These were originally made around 1986-1988. (see below picture)
5.
Tippmann SMG-60, circa 2003. Similar to the SMG-60, but had a shorter barrel. This was also a later model with an internal air line from the ASA to the valve.
6.
Homemade cannon, and homemade Model 98 Underbarrel Cannon, circa 2003.
7.
Brass Eagle Rainmaker, fully customized, circa 2004.
This has more upgrades than I can probably remember, but a few include:
Angel Frame (w/ Angel Frame adapter of course)
Vigilante HP Reg, Palmers LP reg
Custom milling and ano
Upgraded internals (Tornado valve, delrin bolt, etc)
8.
AKA Viking, circa 2004. This gun I actually still have, and it's my main gun for the occasional time that I play.
9.
AKA Excalibur - circa 2005.
10.
MacDev Cyborg - circa 2005.
11.
Tippmann SL-68, circa 2007.
12.
Invert Mini - circa 2007
13.
AKA Viking (salmon color) - circa 2007. I bought this gun for an ex-girlfriend to use after she started playing paintball with me. This is now an ex-gun of mine.
14.
Trilogy Cocker - fully customized and halfblocked. I wish I could say I did all of this, but I bought it this way to have as a backup. Lots of info
here.
15.
Phantom - sold this recently
16. Gotcha Toy Gun from the late '80s...mint in box. It fires a special form of paint pellets.
17.
PPS Blazer - can't find a picture of it currently...
18.
Splatmaster Rapide - can't find a picture of it currently...
I think there's some more, but I'm drawing a blank currently...
