Yes it is! One of the many guns I have bought here on PbN!
I still have Micah's Ironmen jersey from that era too.

Totally jealous of this one. My favorite ano pattern, even thought I don't own a marker in that pattern. Great collection of Evos and such.

Thanks! It's called "Crazy Black Splash" and it's one of my favorites too.

Thumbs up on the RT 0001.
I had one many years ago, no idea the serial number, although i got one when they first came out so it had to be pretty low i'm thinking.
And I use that crazy black splash in our team's tshirt designs. They look great.

Haha, I'll have to see a pic of those t-shirts.
I got my first RT when they came out too. It was number 505. I still remember that.

How did you come up with the 001 RT? What's the story behind that?

I played on Farside back when we all shot 'Mags in the woods. One of the key players on the team also worked at Airgun Designs as one of their master techs. He'd confiscate our guns and fine tune them from time to time. We'd get them back with parts milled off, parts changed and generally souped up.
One time I gave AGD my gun and I got back one of the top secret P5 mags. They were the first RT Mag (before the RT) but made to fit onto a regular Automag frame and body. Another time I got back a whole different gun: this RT. It was all milled down and way lighter than production RT's. He used this gun and his own personal one to show AGD what modern tournament guns should have looked and felt like, instead of the bulky and heavy stock RT's they were making. It shot amazing and I played national tournaments with it until 2001 when I finally retired it and started using an electronic gun.

Took the most time and effort. It was done but it was honestly my least favorite gun and I was considering selling it off before I decided to start over and have the sight rail milled off and change out the gripframe. It went from my least favorite to my favorite pump.

An how it is now:

Yeah, I had a Geo 2 for a while and then an Ego 11. I've kept a PE gun the whole time ever since that Ego.

Thread may have fallen back a bit but I just wanted to say this is some nice history to hear about. A Classic 68 was my first "real" marker(after my Victor) and I can't imagine paintball without owning one. Besides, I like what was done to the body, it's too bad no one has done any runs of a ULE RT Classic body... with ego feedneck on top of that. Angel threaded necks are getting few and far between it seems.
