I broke my Creed...

Okay guys, I've got a pretty big problem. I was playing with my Creed and I dove into snake. I landed wrong and the barrel went into the ground and the ASA snapped off. The gun itself works fine but the barrel is trashed. So the ASA got ripped of off the mount and it stripped the grip frame so the ASA won't stay on. So I have two questions. One, is there somewhere I can buy a whole new grip frame? Two, could I buy an ASA that doesn't need those rail things to keep it on?

You'd probably have to contact vanguard for a new grip frame. Or one of the new service centers.

Out of curiosity, were you using one of the stock barrels? Only reason I am asking is because I thought they were made to snap off exactly for that reason.

I hear they'll usually replace the barrel for free but........breaking an ASA is some serious abuse lol.

Nah, the rails on the ASA break sometimes. I think on our team, we've probably broken 3-4 Creed ASAs, and too many barrels to count.

That's part of the game. Practice diving and holding your gun properly when doing that superman...practice with nothing in your hand until you get used to the motion, then graduate back to breaking your equipment, lol.

Now to answer your question.
You can contact overweightangel on here for Creed parts. He may have some. If not, I would check with www.aggressivesports.net and see if they have the parts. They can also help you out with annodizing.

As far as using an ASA that doesn't require the rails, that won't really work on the Creed because the rail and set screws keep the ASA in place, it's not a direct bolt ASA like some accept. You could get clever if you have a drill press and machine the frame to accept a direct bolt ASA, if you have a tap and die set.
