Try to get a carbon fiber 45/45 or 60/45 tank.

As for a mask it is important to invest in a quality mask. The JT proflex is pretty cheap and is one of the best masks out there. Other good options include Grillz, Dye i4s, Sly Profits, Empire Events.

i recommend getting a used axe instead of the mini. Its abit bigger and perform really well. Minis have horrible resale value. You can find an axe in good condition for about 330.

grillz lenses scratch easily, and are sold stock without a thermal lens. I'd recommend purchasing a pair of proto axis pro. They are cool looking, provide plenty of bounces, and are easy to take apart. Best mask on the market by far!

I own a mini and they are great markers, but buying an axe will save you money down the road for upgrades.

Also, get a carbon fiber tank. 68/4500 is the recommend, basic size. I'd recommend buying a ninja tank because they have the best reputation. You can find great deals on ansgear.com for all of the things you are looking for.

Strangely enough, I love the Visible Impact mask that I got at Wal-Mart more than my Flex-8. It's comfortable, breathable, and is just an all-around good mask. $20! That tank probably has to go, though. I'm a woodsballer, so I use a remote with my giant 62/30 Ninja. A CF tank is nice, I've used 'em on occasion. The Mini is good, the Halo is good. Empire packs are decent, however I always recommend NXE because they're tough and comfortable. Ninja also makes one called the Critical which is rather nice. Your setup is just fine, however that tank needs to be replaced with a CF.

There is an edit button at the bottom of the post. And your halo is fine, don't worry about rotors or prophecys

if the setup works for you and you like its good. there's things you can upgrade, but by coming on here you have to expect people to say stuff like they don't like it. some people are rocking egos and that's all they favor. halos work fine for your set up, minis max out at 20 bps anyway so you don't need a better hopper. you have a decent tank, and vents are great masks.

get more experience before you go out buying stuff. learn about the sport and some of the details about gear. then based off of that knowledge, get your gear.
