Two great teams pull together to get wounded vets in the game at LL5!
Every time we go out and enjoy a weekend of paintball, or anything else we do, we owe a great debt to the brave men and women of our armed forces. These soldiers stand ready and able to protect us, our nation, and our activities.
It is for this reason that a team from Texas, Team Defiant, has partnered up with Action Track Chairs to help get wounded veterans on the field at many paintball events, including CPX Sports' Living Legends V produced by Viper! They will be making the long trip from Texas and, with help from The Hellions paintball team from CPX Sports, they will be getting some local veterans on the field who might not otherwise get to join you on the field for the fun and excitement of this top-tier paintball event.
With assistance from Tippmann Sports the veterans will be taking the field in awesome off-road electric chairs with rubber tank treads and armed with Tippmann Phenom markers.
Be sure and stop by the camp of Team Defiant and shake their hands. They're great people doing the right things for the right reasons. And thanks to The Hellions for stepping up and giving them some local help and making this all possible at Living Legends this year!

Big Kudos to Team Defiant and the Hellions for making this happen.
Those wheel chairs are the coolest thing I've ever seen, and I've seen some stuff!

Agreed. Looking forward to shaking the hands of the players on Defiant and Hellions for pulling this off. I even sent Actionchairs an email from their website yesterday, thanking them for making this happen. |
