frankie its been a while since i have played around with one of these;

i think they came with a lighter spring
they work well but need to be maintained, a clean and lube every time you use it will keep it working well.

alright cool. i usually take my borg apart completely after every 3 days of play so i should be fine.

can anyone confirm the lucky v2 valve having it's own special spring?

I jacked around with a lot of "upgrade" parts for my borg and know what I finally found worked best...? Stock. I did put an aftermarket trigger on it, but the internal balancing is terrific.

I believe it did have it's own spring.

I agree with blueshifty. I tried all kinds of "upgrades" on my 06. They ALL ended up being downgrades. Not for lack of trying either. I have built some beast markers, But cyborgs aren't ion's or cockers.

That's good to know. I am getting an old 06 Borg and was wondering if I should do anything to it!
Will be my second electro after my Droid. I wanted a poppet to go along with my spool. Like to try new things
I know there are a lot of newer markers around, but figure i'm not as good as the pro's were in 2005 when it came out, so it will not be holding me back any
