I been using 3 different barrels lately

Evil back .686 W/stiffi tip

1 piece bob long .685 (made by CP and super underrated)

Dye UL .688 (can't ever go wrong with due barrels)

last 2 practices I used my evil back, a tad bit louder than my UL, but light and I like how it looks like on my axe. Will post pics

Anyone try a shaft 4 barrel on their axe/mini?

It seems like a great barrel, long control bore, decent bore selection, and a lot of porting.

If you're going Lapco, take a look at their new FUSE kit, it looks sexy as hell.

It looks good. I'm not a kit guy so I hope they'll sell individual parts.

I believe they do sell the barrels individually. You have to call Lapco to order, as no dealers have these in stock yet.

Gotcha.

I was also looking at the Flasc unported barrels with the cannoniser. Loudest barrel on the market! Might be fun

My axe with the dust black freak back + 14" dust black AA front + .689 freak insert

I LOVE the look of it, matches the Axe very well in my opinion. great functionality and versatility with the Freak inserts. I also have a dust blue 12" AA front.

Average loudness, I think. and about average in weight.

However, I recently had a chance to try a friend's Lucky 15 and I kind of liked it. It was heavier, but quieter. Not enough experience to comment / compare the accuracy of the two. What do you guys think? Should I buy a Lucky 15 barrel kit? Or would that be a downgrade from my Freak kit / AA fronts? Or is it all just a matter of opinion?

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Lucky 15s are good but I'd just get a CP advantage 1 piece barrel in 685 and. 689. Cheaper and just about the same thing. Lurker make a bell of a barrel. Im going to start using just a lurker 684 and a 688 ul

I just bought two lucky 15 barrels from the B/S/T (.685 and .691). I'll try it out and see if I like it better than the freak/AA barrels I have.

I have DW, Lurker .679, shaft 4, and dye Boomstick. Did have furious barrel but didnt like it.

I will have to say Lurker and Boomstick are about the same for quietness which is pretty quiet. and then DW and Shaft 3 are about the same not as quite but still good barrels. My preference is the barrel to be as quiet as it can be.
So, as of right now im liking the boomstick cause of the two piece and diff back bores.

I liked reading through this thread. A lot of interesting choices by some.

I'm looking at the freak kit just because I usually run different paint to see how it shoots so having those different inserts are nice but all aren't necessary.

Thanks for starting this and for those who posted.

Does anyone knows how can I get in touch with the people from Lurker (http://www.lurkerpb.com)? An email will be best. I need to ask if they ship overseas.

I saw a link to their fb page but I do not have a fb account..

UPDATE

I finally found their email address. It took some effort though.. Anyway if you're a newbie like me who needs to get in touch with Lurker,
email Ryan@lurkerpaintball.com for general enquiries and Shipping@lurkerpaintball.com for questions regarding your order, to cancel, change, or for any other shipping issues.

You won't be disappointed. I got a full freak kit (8 inserts in all i believe), 2 tips, and a back piece for $80 on ebay a few months back. There are definitely some inserts I haven't used, but i've yet to go to a field and not been able to match or underbore (if you're into that sorta thing ) the paint I was using. Worth every cent.

FYI, if you want to try a carbon fiber barrel you could pick up the deadly winds barrel and use all your freak inserts too

My two favorite barrels are my 14" .688 dye ultralight, and my furious lotus kit.

I was going to go this route, but I poked around on DW's site and found some dissatisfied customers on their forum talking about barrels that were threaded wrong so their alignment was off. It kinda scared me off of getting a Fibur.

What's the odds of breaking paint with the .679 Eigenbarrel compared to the .684?

I'm torn between the two.

I break paint sometimes with the .684, but I shoot really crappy paint.

Havn't broken paint yet with my .684. But I'm actually about to buy the .679 as soon as the eigenbolt comes back in stock. Love the 684 and am eager to try underboring.

Just ordered a dust black Eigenbarrel .684 for my Axe.

Shipping was only $2.50!

I love when people charge actual shipping costs & not a flat rate.

Will post pics when it gets here!

Here's my stock set-up
