there was 90 something cars, only a few were EC (the non-$500 class)

we finished 45th on saturday despite our race ending early when we broke a rocker arm with about an hour to go (we were in 20th when it went and steadily moving up)

sunday i don't even know what we finished, didn't bother looking because there were still a few hours to go when we got hit and were out of the race

I believe it now, still thought it should be able to take a stock sti in a quick stop light drag and not blow its head gasket.

I'd rather not be hassled TBH. It was already in the shop for RTAB's and a water pump. If I DIY'd everything instead of having a shop fix it I'd probably just be getting to the Vanos unit now.

there's quite a few write-ups to DIY, but it does kinda seem like a pain in the ***

edit: alan, water pump and rtabs are pretty easy

They're already in, lols. And wouldn't you know my rad cracked at the expansion tank fitting ~3 weeks later.

I'm getting the front suspension, entire cooling system, 02 sensor and motor/trans mounts put on fo' free. All I have to do is a full detail on the owners e46 M3 and wash up his older benz.

Already have all the parts

Meyle HD front suspension kit (tie rods, sway bar endlinks, LCA's and bushings)

Mishimoto Aluminum radiator, SPAL electrical fan, aluminum thermostat housing, new thermostat, hoses, expansion tank, cap, etc. I already had a stewart water pump installed.

Rogue trans mounts, Stock M3 motor mounts (upgrade over 325is) and an OEM 02 sensor.

Just waiting on the mounts/sensor to come in the mail today.

**** was brand new for impending water system failure, I never used it. PO for the m roady gave me a car full of spare parts he got when they were on sale, and never ended up needing to use anything for the 14 years and 130K miles he had the car.
