If you finance through penfed you can get 5 year 100mi bumper to bumper warranty, also money is basically free at 1.49%
Has some torque, not gobs, but its not terrible when compared to the e60 m5.
Mine was relatively cheap to maintain, tires, oil change, and inspection 2 was it.

True, but you will not have an LSD to aid in putting that power to the pavement. Why any 300hp car or larger doesn't have one as an option is beyond me. Its practically the only reason to go ///M now though.

Most cars dont have LSD's because traction control is much better when you can slow one wheel down at a time. its also alot safer to have one wheel spin vs both and have the car slide. Traction control systems are getting good enough to not need limited slips, i bet within the next 5-10 years LSDs will be obsolete on most cars. Granted if you want it for a specifc reason there will always be aftermarket solutions

Disagree. For the general public, yes, traction control is better, for tracking you want the lsd, not only does it make the car more predictable, but it also keeps you from burning through your rear brakes in a track day. Lastly, if you want a bit of slide, or you want to drift a bit, no traction control system can properly mimic a locking diff.
As for a 600hp 11 second 135i... he could probably launch better with a diff.

Not planning on tracking this car, 135i seemed to be fine on the track according to magazine tests
DTC turned off still allows sliding while having elsd active
Diff is better obviously for grip and power slides, I heavily argue predictability though.
But in a road going car no LSD isn't going to make or break a car for me.
135i has plenty of torsen/clutch pack differential choices if i desired.

I'm thinking about it. But, at the same time, I still sort of want it. I might see if I can source up a new button and try that first.
