Is that not how any older car goes? The cheaper they get the more people purchase them thinking they are the ****? I know I would not be able to afford my past 3 cars if they were not more than a few years old. But I know my saab and C5 A6 were not the bee's knee's.

This also opens up the scene. I doubt many people took an e30 in the past when they were 20K+ new and said "I am going to put full coilovers, m50 swap, 3 pc wheels and redo the interior.... Your point does not make sense.

Also turbo miata does not have much weight difference than an ls1 miata.... Maybe if someone is doing a 402 or some other big block.

This is the case with any car older than like a 2010


Got my smoked depo corners in/on today, car looks so much better than with the ambers. I need headlights but I think I'm gonna hold off till mid summer. My other car needs a pressure plate/brakes. :/ Undecided on if I should order a new oem tail to replace my cracked one or just go clear depo tails. Opinions?

Well, this isn't my car, but it's a customer's car that I've been working on for a while. It's a '99 M Coupe with a Dinan S62 long block shoehorned into it. The plan is to run it in the 1 Lap of America starting next month if everything goes as planned during testing next week. Generally speaking, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Dry sump oil system, carbon hood/roof/front bumper, performance friction big brakes, blah blah blah. I'm going to be putting it on the scale pad either tomorrow or monday to do a basic setup, so i'll post the weight once I find out. But my guess is it should come in at around 3250 with full fluids (minus fuel) and no driver.

(pardon the cell pictures. I rarely bring my camera into work with me)
