Try Dropping a couple drops of paintball oil in the ASA and see if that helps. Also try not to just flip it on let it slowly air up a couple times.

Ok, and I tried gassing it up with a ball in the breach and it shot it. The ASA threads are messed up, if that would do anything.

nothing is wrong with your gun. Like the tech said just air up your marker slowly.

My Axe and every other Axe that I have ever shot does this when you flip the ASA lever fast. All it needs is a slow flip, you will feel the pressure build up and the. You can just clamp it down. Good luck and let us know what happens when you try this.

So a couple of drops of oil in the ASA won't hurt the solenoid/anything else the air passes through?

Nope - it is actually good for the marker. Just remember to drop the oil in the ASA and then put your tank on and dry fire the marker a couple times to spread the oil throughout the marker.

Will this help smooth up the on/off lever? The pin doesn't retract when off

My axe pin never retracted, I don't think it's supposed to
