Keep loosing FS during game on G6R

Well today I chronoed gun at 290 +- 2 and was super happy how consistant it was. After the first game today we turned the field and I noticed my balls seemed a lot slower. So I re-chronoed and I was at 260-235.... so I cleaned gun and then re-chronoed and back at 290, and same thing happend where I was loosing FPS during second game.

I replaced all orings and put fresh lube and tried 2 batteries. Any ideas?

Also I sent my board to get reflashed by BLAST and it took a whole month to send back to me and my board keeps draining batteries. So really dont want to send to BLAST again.

What I do plan on doing is increase dwell by one and leave my settings stock like they always been

165/175 HPR 70/72 LPR and I just increased dwell by one just incase to 7

Make sure your LPR screw isn't backing out. That's the usual culprit.

Are you sure of this? You said you cleaned the gun and rechrono'd. If you cleaned the lpr, you had to redo the screw and reset it.

check your HPR screw maybe...I had to put a little loctite on mine just to give it a little more friction to stay put.

Viper- I am sure. I put my tester and made sure it was set.

Young- my HPR did not look like it had a problem unscrewing. In fact I screwed in maybe a quarter turn and I was at 290 when chronoed when was good.

The other culprit might be a bad valve or noid that intermittently gets clogged up or doesn't fully open. Gassing and degassing might "shock" the system into performing well again.

I had the same problem.

I ended up breaking it down, cleaning the poppet area really well, and slightly pulled the spring to stretch it a bit more.

Also, i put plumbers tape around the set screw in the LPR since it DOES back out. Be careful and not let any excess tape get in a position to get into the LPR or you are FUBAR. Added to that I increased the dwell by 2.

One of those, if not all combined, fixed the problem. Good luck

This.

Read the manual guys!

And yes I suggest re lubing everything. Even the poppet. It helped my problems. There was a ton of excess when I opened up my gun.

Probably not. Even with a short, it would take more than a few hours of game play to drain the battery to the point where the velocity drop off would be noticable. One thought that did cross my mind was to make sure the battery is firmly in place. I've seen issues lately where the battery shifts in the gripframe causing the marker to turn off. I could see a contact issue causing the same issue as what you're proposing here.

So I fixed my problem

Changed the frame print leaning against the back of the body on around the poppit.

But my new settings for ultimately smoothness is

LPR 65
dwell 7
hpr 185-190 shooting 290+-2fps with. 685 lucky 15 barrel
