please help pm8

Hey guys in brand new to paintball. I purchased a pm8 off a guy on pb. What happened when I aired the gun up. The gun itself aired up fine. As soon as I pulled the trigger air shot out the back constant and bolt was stuck forward. I also have a ninja tank that blew air out of the disc screw. Any help would be amazing as a spent a lot of money and I don't have a gun that works

remove the bolt, check the O-rings, lubricate, try again.

^What he said. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get enough o-rings to build the marker over 10 times. Also purchase an extra eye pipe or two. Don't forget to have a nice helping a lube with you at all times.

I have a DM10 and have a 10x rebuild kit, 2 eye pipes, along with other goodies and everything else I need to break down and rebuild at all times. I also have the same for my back up shocker and the Girlfriends Ion. It's a good thing to do to make sure your days at the field go smooth and you don't have a marker thats down and out for the day.

So the o rings could be causing the bolt to stick forward and release all the air? I have also noticed that my tank where they fill the air has a little silver piston like thing inside but it is looses should that move up and down freely?

if it is entirely empty, then the fill nipple will move a bit.

Oh ok maybe that's it. Now when the bolt got stuck forward. Air also leaked out of one of the screws on the ninja tank regulater. Could that mean anything? Thanks.

As for the gun, Your LPR needs adjusting. It is far too low to hold the bolt back against the pressure in the shot chamber. I would replace the 2 rear most orings n the bolt kit, the 023 on the back cap screw being the first one since they tend to shear alot, then if it still leaks from the rear i would replace the rearmost 012/013 on the bolt tail. Those are the only 2 oring that can allow for a leak out the rear of the gun

As for the tank, have your local shop replace the burst disc that blew.

thanks a lot. Now what would have caused the disc to blow? Having lpr to low?

probabally not. the leading cause of Burst discs bursting, is over pressurizing(sp?) the tank(ie trying to put 4.5k into a 3k tank)

I'm pretty sure mine has 2 in it I think one says 4.5k and the other I wanna say 7.5k but not quite sure I'm just at work. I also noticed the other leak was coming from that little cooper screw on the asa. Could that mean anything? Thanks
