I'm not exactly a newbie but I think this question belongs here. I wear actual paintball pants when I play but I figured I'd try to grab some opinions on what to wear underneath (except for kneepads. Those are obvious). So what do you guys wear underneath your pants.

i wear slider shorts.. thinking about getting a pair of the under armour pants to go under those to help slide my pads off after playing..

I wear just boxers and knee pads, but a lot of people I know go with slider shorts and/or compression shorts.

Boxers and knee pads. Never needed anything else and I never ended up with bruises on my hips or ***. Not sure why people wear them in paintball actually since most dives are supermen, knee slides, or baseball slides that aren't really impact slides unless you're doing them wrong. Just one more layer of heat rash producing material - but then I live in a part of the country that gets really hot in the spring and summers.
Seems that in the past few years, people are padding up like crazy, which doesn't make sense.

I need to find a pair of closer fitting shorts then. I can't stand baggy shorts or sweats under my pants and it looks weird for a girl to be stripping at the field.

Gym shorts, jeans, sweatpants. Whatever is comfortable really... I mean i've played wih jeans under mine often and they've been perfect

I wear compression shorts and a pair of basketball shorts underneath. The basketball shorts were for another layer, since I had old school jt zip offs.
That and knee pads.
