You'll love it! very very consistent. In the vid I was shooting 285, 285, 286, 289, 285, 285..... you can't ask for more than that! For out of the box! Not even broken in yet!

Thanks - yeah, it shoots really nice! Now my problem is, which markers to bring to the field to play with, I typically bring 2 or 3, then try to use 2. One in the morning, then one in the afternoon. I love them all....
I used to bring my two Rev-i's to the field and pick two renters (young guns) and let them run with them. They were so easy to tech, that there were no worries on fixing anything they broke. I loved their faces, getting to use a decent marker, from a tippy 98 rental.
Since I sold them, I've not loaned out any.... I am babying them too much... I gotta get some grime on them.
But I was on the fence since the ZR-1 released..... but now that I have one, and have put some paint through it. I am very impressed with it! The trigger feels great for a stock trigger. (TRUTH) not just "ok" for a trigger, it feels great! Very very CRITICAL TRIGGER smooth! And the rubber boot on the front grip is a very nice touch! Feels great in the hands.
The on/off button and eye button, are a breeze to push. I'm so used to having to drill into a membrane pad to get a marker going. This is very easy to turn on, and go! The colors of the LED is very easy to distinguish for changing settings... and typically once you set it, your done. I've never been one to futz around with settings. Once I set it, I leave it alone, I use Semi and PSP 12.5 and that's it.
OK - with the positive there are some things, I hope improve. I never broke a ball, and the operating pressure is a little higher than I would have liked. But I am hoping that with time, it can be reduced once broken in. I do not advise putting your finger down the breach. But I did and the ZR-1 will impact it with some FORCE. ( NOT HARD but you can feel it, very firmly )To compare it to my Clone GT and DM9 they feel very very soft when impacting your finger. Right or Wrong, I tend to do that to see what kind of impact the ball is getting, now there are obviously some markers I'D never do that with, but I use if for a personal gauge. Not sure if it's because of the stroke and release of the bolt from the rest position and how it speeds up during the cycle, but I hope after breaking it in, I can reduce the pressure and make it even more gentle.
If anyone has any tips let me know..... I cleaned and regreased the HPR, and shot it again and still the pressure is around 205 to 209psi for 285fps.
Very good shooting marker, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone! Very pleased with my purchase!
