You can't you they won't let you leave. You could refuse to train but then you'll be an oth. Just don't be a ***** you want to quit because it's hard. You joined the marine corps you knew it would be hard. So suck it up and train if you really hate the infantry so much you can be a pog in h&s and get meritorious promotions and nams and call your own working parties.

I got to be a witness for an soi njp.
In soi I was stuck in the co office one day because I had gotten into a fight so everyone else went to the field and I had to stay back because they were pretending like I was in trouble. Gunny walked in and was like ''you're going to come witness an njp'' So I threw out a loud motivated soi student ayeaye gunny and walked over to the cp. Sgt Maj Kassel walked up to me and informed me that I was a ''quitter *****'' and I told him I was here to be a witness. He then acted like my best friend and was cracking jokes about people who quit soi. In the njp I stood in the corner with some random sgt and watched like 7 guys all walk through get njpd and all of them were crying. One of the most entertaining things I have seen in the MC so far. Watching a lt col **** with a pvt/pfc and having a 1sgt and sgt major heckling an njp was hilarious.
The njps I have seen in the fleet they were all boring and just instilled so much hate towards my command I would plot ways we could kill xo, co, 1stsgt

Yeah. Witnessing NJPs really suck though when it's your friends that are getting ****ed. I knew a guy that had a kid and child support, so the Bn Co(col) decided to give him half pay for two months and make him a pfc again. That was after he was informed of those two facts. But when someone who deserves to get Ninja punched, I give no ****s in their favor.

Is anyone in 2/8 or recently left there? Or know anyone currently with them? Preferably a line company.
